This doctor lacks a welcoming bedside manner and makes the patient feel as if their needs are being pushed aside due to the doctor's personal biases. He also makes the patient feel afraid to speak up and, in turn, second guess themselves. The doctor could strengthen both interpersonal skills and properly read up on cases in order to come across as a more caring, less dismissive individual in the medical field.

My Doc
He listens to me! He diagnosed me with restless leg syndrome on the spot after the previous doctor said he never heard of my symptoms. He is prompt on refilling prescriptions and genuinely cares. When I said I needed a tetanus shot he advised me to go to pharmacy as it was cheaper there because my insurance wouldn't cover it. He rocks!

This was my first visit with Dr. Blankenship and I found him to be very knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. I have a lot going on medically and I was truly able to get all of this across to him without feeling rushed. I believe it will be a partnership.
