Dr. Jonathan Bolton, MD

Please look at other people's reviews. I am so grateful I never got involved with drug addiction or any of the other problems these patients mention. Still, Dr. Jonthan Bolton's impact has been detrimental in other ways.I would advise anyone not to authorize him to see records from other doctors. In my own case, he feigned sympathy and said, 'I can help you if I can be authorized to see records from past doctors.'Instead, he used that information to frame his own agenda. Whenever another doctor says, 'This patient may have had this problem,' Bolton can say, 'I was correct all along.' When another doctor directly refutes Bolton's notion, he says, 'This other doctor does not think so.' In my opinion, this is because Jonathan Bolton is not a good psychiatrist. As the rest of us can see, it is human nature to trust such a well-presented man from a distinguished background, especially when we grew up poor. But that does not mean he is a good doctor that does the right thing.'

I still have bad, discouraging, negative memories of Dr. Jonathan Bolton. His academic work is brilliant. Thank God he retired to academia and works with few patients. Underneath his elegant and articulate exterior is a man full of self-doubt that he hides with arrogance, condescension, or denial. Read his notes if you about you for proof. I will never trust again.

It is so difficult and painful to speak about bad experiences with a doctor. It makes me want to cry, feel vulnerable, get angry, or just withdraw more. But, it is essential that the world knows the truth about Dr. Jonathan Bolton. I am so chronically fatigued and have wasted so many years of my life. As of this moment, I cannot give any details, because I fear that something bad will happen to me. When you are in dire straits, and you open up to such a seemingly handsome, charming man, what happens? I found out, the hard way, that Dr. Jonahtan Bolton's empathy and caring are false. He can dehumanize and blame someone with his notes and writing as rapidly as others do with real weapons and toxins.

Do a thorough web search on this man. You will see lots of one-star, poor ratings. Then, you will see some suspicious five star ratings. Bolton may be as handsome as they come; but, in my opinion and my experience, a bad doctor. I definitely would not recommend seeing him again.

Dr. Bolton made a poor impression on me. At key times, he kept things together with promises and building trust, but ultimately this was deception. He did not act in the best interest of the client and does not do the right thing when the crisis is there. Yes, we can see from other reviews that he is well-dressed, well-spoken, etc. but ultimately is not trustworthy practitioner. Again, that is only my opinion, based on my experience with him.

Over the course of years of "treatment" with him, I have come to the conclusion that he has not only failed to help but has instead caused great harm. He is polished, well-dressed, and uses beautiful words, but his actions have revealed low ethical standards and a deficit in clinical knowledge. He lacks insight into his role in the physician-patient partnership, refuses to accept responsibility and will deny when called out. If you have doubt, I recommend that you seek a second opinion soon.
