Dr. Buscaglia removed a large precancerous polyp in my colon the size of a golf ball that was extremely close to turning malignant . He was able to completely remove it and left no residue or complications. He is an extremely competent, dedicated professional, tops in his field. He showed overwhelming concern and compassion for me. I owe him my life.

Dr. Buscaglia is an excellent doctor, his office has been difficult to deal with to put it nicely. I recieved a letter today that I was supposed to have a followup appointment in June- I was never told I had to. I just called and the next appointment after 2pm is January 18th- if an office sends a letter that I was supposed to have an appointment and need a 6 month checkup- the next available date is 2021???

In February of 2020 I was admitted to the ER at Stony Brook Hospital for internal bleeding and a large cyst on my pancreas.I had 5 surgeries and given multiple units of Blood due to blood loss and also put into a induced coma for almost 2 weeks.I owe my life literally for the great job Dr Buscaglia did and the care he gave.He will definitely be one of the best Drs I ever had care for me for those few weeks. After I was out of my coma he checked on me everyday till the day I was discharged from the hospital and after.I been home now slowly recovering for about a month now.i have my good days and bad with severe pain and Dr Buscaglia is still making sure I’m doing ok and how I’m feeling.I really can’t put into words what a great Dr he is.I can’t thank him enough or put into words how thankful I am.

This is third time I have had trouble reaching his office over the last several months. The last time, which was a few months ago, I was treated disrespectfully by his staff. I did address this with his assistant and was told they would use my experience as a training aid and insure contact would be fixed. I have been trying to reach his office all day to change my appointment given my age and pre-existing condition which puts me at increased risk. When I respond to the prompts directing me to the appropriate area, it just sends me back to the list of items to select from. Obviously no one checks to see if there system is functioning properly. Given the info to select a prompt from, it is obvious they made changes to deal with the current virus pandemic. When I consider my past experiences, I feel this is an obvious attempt to not have their patients be able to contact them. As a result I have no choice but to change doctors. A doctor is only as good as the operation of his office.
