Dr. Jonathan Buttram, MD

Dr. Buttram didn’t just want to throw a medication at me. He listened intently and wanted to find ‘the WHY’ of my immunology issues.

Dr. Buttram is a very good doctor. He listened to me when I explained my symptoms. He explained test he wanted to run and why, then followed up with a clear explanation of what he found and explained my diagnosis in a way I could understand. He is very friendly and will take the time needed for his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Buttram and his office on HWY 271 in Tyler, are all absolutely amazing. From the sign in desk to his nursing staff and of course, Dr. Buttram himself. He will listen to all your problems, and then talk to you not at you. He will tell you how it is. He will walk you through the steps and make you feel like you matter. He helped me understand everything that needed to be done, what didn't need to be done, what meds he was going to put me on and why, and he answers my chart messages, and his office will always call you back. Just make sure you call his office's direct line, because for some reason if you call the main clinic line, you might get sent somewhere else,

Have to wait awhile in waiting room and when you get back to a room you wait awhile,Then it takes about 15 to 20 with the doctor who has a humorous side which is refreshing and then your on your way until next time.

Dr. Buttram has always listened to my concerns and has been very helpful in almost completely eliminating my allergy symptoms.

I can say Dr. Buttram was the only doctor to be able to treat the itching on my arms due to pinched nerves in my neck. He is kind and very compassionate and will listen to what you have to say. You will like Dr. Buttram.

We love this doctor. He is kind and pays attention. Office is clean and neat with all people connected kind and polite. They run a timely office, too.

Follow up visit, even though I did not test positive for inhalant allergies. He was very helpful to explain options , recommendations for tests to confirm reflux disease, the suspected underlying cause of my symptoms.

Dr. Buttram is very understanding and always takes time to make you feel comfortable about the problem that you are having. His staff is 2nd to NONE... and go out of their way to help. I would recommend this practice to anyone!!

Dr. Buttram’s office is amazing, from the check in gal, to the nurses, to Dr. Buttram himself. I had an amazing experience with them. I did have a bit of a wait, but once I was back there it made it worth it. Both the doctor and the nurse were very thorough with their questions, and Dr. Buttram offered so many solutions to the allergy problems I was having. He was extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and made me feel like I was his only patient on the agenda for the day. Highly recommend him for any allergy needs for anyone from 1-100!

Nursing staff, Dr. Buttram, and Dr. Cooper all acted with disregard for me as a patient. I could not believe the conduct of the staff other than the kind receptionist and the nurse whom checked me in. I heard them very clearly speaking about me mocking my reasoning for even being here in the hallway. He IMMEDIATLEY sits down and tells me he's not sure the reason I'm here and that there wasn't anything he could do in his office. I asked if he was refusing to test for any allergens. He said "yes."
