I went to see Dr Jonathan Cox, after being told that I had an enlarged heart. He did an EKG and said that I had suffered 2 heart attacks. I told him that I wasn't told that at the ER, he replied well they don't know what they are doing, only a cardiologist can read an EKG?? He asked if I had blood work done, and I said yes in the ER, I offered to show him the results, he was interested in seeing them. I asked if he wanted to see my x-ray, he said no to that too. He decided that I should come back in 3 weeks to have a stress test and an echo done . So for the next 3 wks, I got to worry about whether or not I did have 2 heart attacks. When I had completed the testing, the results showed no evidence of any heart ailments at all. The office staff was absolutely outstanding, courteous and super friendly. The Dr was just plain rude and stuck on himself! I will not go back to him nor would I recommend him to my worst enemy.

My mom came in for a stress test and echo and had a bad experience with a phlebotomist. When I asked Dr. Cox about the tests she didn't get to take, what to do about them, and why a phlebotomist stuck her 4 times without asking for help, he was quick to dismiss my questions with a "I don't know what to tell you. I'm only a doctor". I don't like doctors who don't have time for their patients.
