Top Notch Internist in KC OPK area!
He is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of overall health and if you need a referral to a specialist, he only refers to the highly respected physicians--best in their specialty. He responds to any questions you have in a timely manner. He is a very kind and caring physician and really listens what you have to say.I feel very fortunate that my husband and I are his patients.

He is always on time which is very rare in today's medical society. Dr. Finks is always professional, courteous, and has a great sense of humor. He gets to know his patients. I have been going to him now for over 10+ years with no plans to stop. He is honest, outgoing and will be there when you need him.

Dr. Finks is a talented physician and an amazing human being. I first became aware of Dr. Finks through a friend whose husband had several challenging medical conditions that had gone untreated for decades. Dr. Finks took him on as a new patient and my friend’s husband received the best care imaginable. I was so impressed with Dr. Finks, I persuaded both of my parents to switch to him when their physicians retired. Because of my parents, I have years of interactions with and observations of Dr. Finks and I have always felt like my family has received exceptional care. I do mean exceptional care! Dr. Finks’ staff is caring and reflect his attitude towards his patients. The team works together very effectively. I have recommended Dr. Finks to several people and will continue to recommend him.

Very caring and compassionate doctor. Never rushes you and listens to your concerns. Convinced my stubborn and proud husband to have the needed tests for his dementia diagnosis.

MessageI am sure Dr. Finks is a wonderful doctor. I wouldn't know. It took me 3 months to get an appointment. Then they called me 2 days before to reschedule. I adjusted my time to be there and I waited in the lobby for 45 minutes and in the back room for another 45. I left. Additionally, they requested medical records from a previous doctor via snail mail vs. fax. I went in nearly 3 weeks ahead of time to ensure that my files were there and they mailed it. I just got a call today from that doct

Dr. Finks listens, he advises, is very knowledgable and offered many options for some of my concerns, all of which are reasonable. He has a great sense of humor and bedside manner. Provided clear information on follow-up visits. Never felt rushed, took his time and made me feel very comfortable.

We have been lucky enough to be under his care since he came to KCIM. We think the only reason Tom is alive is because of Dr. Finks sikill and compassion is guiding. Toms medical problems. Even the staff at Menorah Hospital want to be his patient.. They all smile and say he is a keeper.

Feel so lucky to have found Dr. Finks 2 years ago. First time I've felt like I have a partner in my health that's really smart, really knows what he's doing AND listens to me. Gives me his time. Even though we know he's busy. He's very easy to talk to. Finally got my husband to see him last year and he feels the same way.
