He is a very good doctor I am very happy with my doctor

Dr. Florczak was very cordial and showed caring approach towards me as his patient. I appreciate that he listens and visit was not rushed.

He did an excellent job informing and asking if I would be okay having a student come in with him. He also did a nice job explaining things to me and then showing/explaining to his student!

I was extremely impressed with Dr. Florzak. He was extremely attentive, gave me lots of time, addressed every single issue. I am very, very happy that I chose him for my doctor! I wish they were more doctors like him.

Dr. Florczak took time to explain several options and his recommendation. That was very helpful.

Dr Florczak is a gem with fantastic bedside manner. He's very easy to talk to and takes the time to care for me as a patient. He answers all my questions without judgement or a condescending tone. He's a fantastic doctor!

Doctor seems to actually care

Had an appointment with Dr Florczak this morning. I found him to be patient, kind, knowledgeable, caring. I considered him to be excellent. Addressed concerns I had with staff. Spoke courteously and respectfully to my daughter that is concerned enough to attend my appointments.Had a viable ongoing treatment plan. Understood my complex medical and acute pain disease from a physiology and emotional standpoint. Can't imagine anyone could have provided a better experience.

Dr Florczak had very clearly thoroughly read through my medical history and notes from previous appointments with other doctors on my care team and I greatly appreciated that and his attention to details.

I have a long history of treatment with Dr. Florczak and, based on my experience, I can say that he is always professional, concerned, supportive, and considerate of my input. His treatment has produced positive results. I feel that treatment decisions are arrived at cooperatively, with my input being given complete consideration.

I'm very happy with the additional information my provider gave me to help set expectations of outcome. I also appreciate their advice on prescription pick-up location as the Froedtert pharmacy vs my local one. It was a very quick turn around AND the pharmacy staff helped me with my pick-up.

I completely agree with others that he is terribly unfriendly, and seems profoundly irritated when I tried to talk, or explain or try to dare ask a question. I wanted to just walk out. I will NEVER go back to see Dr. Jonathan Florczak. Although I heard a very pleasant, upbeat Doctor that someone else got across the hall. I wish I would of gotten that Dr.'s name! He sounded amazing!

Dr. Florczak is very strict with his schedule, timing and patient being prepared for the appointment. But, he’s a wonderful Dr. very compassionate, knowledgeable and caring. He has been trying to help me with my ongoing chronic migraines always trying new options if one treatment doesn’t work he’s always looking for other ways to help and I appreciate how he doesn’t give up on helping me. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Florczak has helped me with my migraines. He really listens and cares, his staff is amazing. They make sure I have several appointments so I stay on schedule with my treatment. Dr. Florczak cares, and listens to me about what I might think are underlying problems. My treatments are really working, they aren't coming on as fast as they use to. If you have horrible migraines, Dr. Florczak will help you, and so will his staff.

If wasting your time & having your condition(s) & issues/concerns ignored, then schedule your appointments w/ this “specialist” so others might have a chance to see a legit neurologist who won’t be annoyed to (novel concept here) provide care. This man has the attention span of a goldfish. (Sorry, goldfish!) He doesn’t listen! He interrupts & talks about something completely unrelated to your symptoms/condition. He speaks extremely fast, mumbles & is condescending & rude. My sympathies go to the residents who must survive their residency w/ him & to the staff that must endure a career w/ him. He doesn’t have any respect or empathy for his patients (aka: the clients who pay him!) He cannot handle any case that is complex & extends beyond 3 types of headaches. If you don’t fit into his simple scope of practice, he will not hide his frustration that should be directed at himself & not the patient. His patient charting is unprofessional; blame patient, delay care. Avoid this headache!

I recently saw Dr. Florczak regarding migraines and headaches that have just gotten worse over the last 20 years. While he’s clearly knowledgeable and I’m sure highly competent, he’s terribly unfriendly. He doesn’t shake your hand when he meets you, interrupts, doesn’t smile, and seems just profoundly irritated with needing to listen to you. Perhaps my experience would have been different were I a man (data continuously shows that a woman’s’ pain is often taken less seriously by male physicians) but – of course – that’s just speculation. He was also quite dismissive of the medical student/resident that was shadowing him, who was male, so perhaps this is just his personality. I will try seeing a different neurologist at Froedtert, if only so I don’t dread my next appointment. This man would be an excellent candidate for empathy coaching.

Very low concern for patient access. Six minutes late for an appointment during a snow storm and was turned away. Told to return in 6 months. Very poor attitude from staff as well. Find a different doctor.

I was extremely unhappy with the quality of care and do not plan to see him again-- Dr. Florczak frequently interrupted me, dismissed my explanation of side effects and concerns, and came across as uncaring. He did not take the time to let me speak or ask questions.
