Dr. Jonathan Furmanek, DPM

I have doctored for one year with 2 other doctors and not been able to find out what was happening to my foot. When I say this doctor is the full package— he not only knew what was wrong but had compassion-knowledge and addressed the issues. My wife and I feel blessed to have found such a wonderful doctor. We would give him a 10 but 5 is the best rate here.

The staff and Dr. Furmanek were all friendly and helpful. I especially loved how Dr. Furmanek really took his time to thoroughly explain my treatment options and the expected results. Knowledgeable, good listener and patient with all my many questions. I had a great visit and the doctor's demeanor really put me at ease. Highly recommend.

After one visit with him I was able to have answers on my foot issue & get on his schedule for surgery. One week after my surgery I was already walking. He did an incredible job.

This was a first visit, and my judgment is this is an efficient and professional medical practice. I was there to have the doctor assess the damage to my swollen ankle from numerous sprains. After completing a comprehensive medical history, the technician took perhaps a dozen xrays. Then Dr. Furmanek came in to examine my ankle, review xrays, and to use an ultrasound to look for underlying fluid. He clearly explained the issues revealed by the xrays, injected a steroid into my ankle and wrapped it in a soft boot for 3 days to try to reduce inflammation. He said an MRI would give a better look at the soft tissue damage. Booked an MRI for the next day. Scheduled a follow-up in a week to review the MRI and discuss options for treatment. This is what I meant by efficient. In addition, the office was clean and the staff was polite and respectful. The Estero office is easy to get to with ample parking.
