Dr. Jonathan Guenter, MD

Had an awful experience with this dr at Alta View Hospital. Very impersonal and poor bedside manners. Disappeared after a 30 second encounter never to be seen again. When he was in the room he was cold and short. Pushed on my stomach without my consent (I was in hospital for dehydration and extreme morning sickness at 6 weeks pregnant). Ended up just leaving the ER after 4 hrs and him never coming back. Ask for a new dr or just go to a different hospital all together if possible!

Had the unfortunate circumstance of meeting this guy in the ER at Alta View hospital where he treated my son and I with such a lack of professionalism that I felt the need to file a complaint. He did not provide the right amount of medication nor did he show much concern about the pain my son was in quoting “He won’t die from the pain”. He openly mocked us “singing who can it be now” when we used the Nursing call light, and even commented that we weren’t being held hostage so we could leave anytime we wanted. I might understand if I was being a raving maniac but all I did was ask about the pill they had promised to provide 40 minutes earlier. This was followed by another 2 hours sitting in the ER even though our room was ready for admission. Sadly I would avoid this facility even in an emergency if I knew he would be there. I work in hospitals as an HRD I understand how demanding these positions are, but he clearly is no longer in it for the right reasons.

Went in for chest pains, sent me home with antacid, three days later I had a heart attack, went to a different doctor and hospital
