Corporate Doctor Trapping Patient
Family member was transported here via ambulance. ER waiting room was packed and filled to a separate hallway. 2 more ambulance patients came in and we were all just waiting to be seen. I thought of taking said family member to a different ER. Dr. Kenyon brought out an interpreter to explain that we will be leaving against medical advice. Let’s just say he spoke in a rather condescending and manipulating tone, cared more about making sure the patient stays and gets admitted to Kaiser ER to collect insurance money, rather than let the patient get care quickly elsewhere. Corporate doctor trapping Kaiser patients. We did finally get admitted 1.5 hours later. Staff was amazing, just not this specific doctor.Edit: I remembered he said during the disclosure of leaving against medical advice “if you leave now, you may die.” I understand needing the patient to understand the consequences if they choose to leave, but that wording is absolutely so threatening. Hence a trap.

Alert to all around...to everyone and everything
Doctor Kenyon was quick to assess my injury and instruct the staff on necessities...you know that bedside manor people talk about. Dr. Kenyon immediately had me relaxed and confident about my treatment. He also had the entire staff and other patients in as good a mood as is possible under emergency conditions.Oh, and my dear Dr. Kenyon...a note:In From Russia, With Love by Ian Fleming, the scene where James Bond is at the gypsy camp, which is then attacked, occurs in Chapter 14: Darko Kerim Sends a Message. This chapter details Bond's interactions at the gypsy camp, the rivalry between the two women, and the subsequent attack orchestrated by Krilencu's men.

Wasn't in tune with my needs or anyone else's. Tries to pretend he understands but ultimately won't help you
