More than skin deep
As a pharmacist for over 40 years. I can discriminate between physicians who care about their patients and profession, and those who don’t. Dr Leventhal is part of the former group. Don’t let his youthful appearance fool you. I did a detailed search before I made an appointment, and my results can be summed up in one word: Wow! Dr Leventhal has published professional papers, medical books, leads several clinics, mentors medical students and works out of Yale New Haven hospital. Meeting the doctor, you’ll find he is kind, empathic, listens, and has a great bedside manner. He performed a head to toe exam and found 1 “nothing “ and another he considered a basal cell carcinoma. He immediately reassured me it was very treatable, and would refer me to a surgeon, and that his office would take care of everything. Today, the Dr texted that the lab confirmed his diagnosis. As promised, his colleague called hours later. And we scheduled surgery. I’m glad I saw Dr Leventhal. You will too!

Dr. Leventhal is excellent! As a retired nurse I can honestly state that his communications with his patients is outstanding! He listens, he explains, he is kind & caring with a wonderful sense of humor! As a 3 yr. patient; I would never go to anyone else!

After finally being fed up with my old dermatologist’s horrible treatment I made an appointment with Dr. Leventhal. What an amazing physician, totally through, pleasant and cheerful personality. He listened to my concerns and provided me with well thought out responses. I am delighted to call him my new dermatologist.
