Refused to answer questions about diagnosis.
I met Dr. Lichtmacher back in 2019. At the time, I had hoped to get get an understanding of my symptoms, and was referred to him as he was well respected and was also Chief of the Psychiatry Department. Our 1 hour meeting was spent discussing my hospitalization after I became triggered that a colleague of his falsified my medical records. Dr. Lichtmacher chose to use this negative interaction I had with his colleague as "proof of a disorder". He claimed that my being upset, reporting his colleague, and my subsequent hospitalization was indicative of Borderline Personality Disorder. When I asked him to elaborate, he ignored my question and said the session time was up. I then sent him a message asking for clarity on how reporting his colleague was indicative of a mental illness, and he refused to answer. He even went so far as to block me from sending him messages. Why would a doctor refuse to answer a patient's health related questions? How can he throw around a label? Unprofessional.
