Today was my second Mohs surgery with Dr. Olsen. He and his assistant were so kind and caring, yet professional. My first surgery that he did on my nose four years ago healed very well and can hardly be seen. I am expecting the same for the one he did on my cheek today. I am so glad my dermatologist recommended him. I think he’s great!

I saw Dr. Jonathan Olson on July 1, 2020 to remove some basal cell carcinoma from my face at his Rock Hill office. The entire experience in his office was very positive. It's easy and convenient to get to with lots of free parking. The staff were all professional and friendly. Dr. Olson and his assistant have the best bed side manner. He explains all your options and everything he is doing. Like other reviewers have said, he is just super nice and really puts you at ease. I waited for two months before leaving a review to see how my face healed up. After all, we all really want a clinically skilled surgeon working on us. I am pleased to say his work is awesome. I had 20+ stitches in my right cheek after my surgery. It was red and I had a little swelling right after the surgery but now it is just slightly pink and continues to heal and fade. It's looking really great and the whole procedure was very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Olson.

I checked out two dermatologists before deciding to undergo Mohl's surgerty to remove a basil carcinoma on my face. Having now met and undergone surgery with Dr. Jonathan Olsen I can say that he is one of the best physicians I've had the opportunity to meet. I worked in the health care sector for 35 years and once had administrative responsibilities for a surgical department so I have a pretty good sense regarding a physician's clinical competency and their ability to relate with patients. I was very pleasantly surprised by the degree to which Dr. Olsen explained the Mohl's procedure, how I should provide post operative care, and his expectations regarding the ultimate results of surgery. He really was excellent and very personable as well. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Jonathan was extremely nice - they (his nurse) could tell I was nervous. He communicated on all procedures he was doing. He was very thorough with what to do when I left his office. They diffused a scary situation and made me feel as calm as I could. Thank you to both!

This is my second mohs surgery with dr. Olson, he is the michaelangelo of mohs, I had one previous on the side of my nose and constantly get compliments even from other drs of his EXCELLENT work. This time it was on my cheek not far from the first incision, again I am very happy and hope it heals as well as the first surgery. I couldn't be happier with dr Olson, he is extremely talented, professional, makes you feel comfortable with going through the process and explaining every step

Dr. Olson is at the very top of his profession. He quickly puts you at ease. Dr. Olson makes you feel like you are like a family member rather than just a patient. I've seen numerous Dermatologist but none even came close to matching Dr. Olson in any way. I give him the maximum possible score plus in every area that he practices.

First off let me apologize for not posting these comments sooner. Several months ago I was diagnosed with squamos cell carcinoma on my face, specifically the bridge of my nose. I was I initially seen at Steelecreek Dermotology. They diagnosed and suggested I see Dr. Jonathon Olson. I arrived for my appointment and was immediately put at ease from the entire staff. They obviously sensed my fear. I found Dr. Olson and staff to all be very kind, caring, compassionate and professional. Thank you

Dr, Olsen is everything any patient would hope for. From the moment you meet him you know that your health is in good hands. All of your concerns regarding your treatment, along with those you have not considered, will be readily addressed in a pleasant and caring manner. I have had procedures done on my face by several surgeons over the years and and I would never consider any other Dr. than Dr. Olsen.

I have been had skin cancer issues for 30 years, and have had several MOHS Surgeries. If I could give this doctor 10 stars, I would do so. He is by far the best surgeon I have ever had. He is extremely articulate, very caring, and although his knowledge is superior, he does not act in that manner towards his patients. My experience with him was unparalleled, and I could find no fault with his bedside manner and skill. His front office staff is not quite as praiseworthy, but his assistants are.
