Bad referral
I was referred by this office to a DO Dr. Varlotta who put me through the most painful procedure of my life, with absolutely no positive results. Furthermore, the procedure and practitioner I was referred to by this office is not approved by medicare nor my insurance, and overcharges. Trust another office

My experience with Dr Stieber and staff has been remarkable. The office and patient rooms are clean and orderly. The staff is professional, from the doorman to the receptionists, to all the medical staff. All are easy to speak with and ensure that you understand everything that is involved in your case. Dr Stieber will patiently explain all options and is never in a hurry to perform surgery as the first fix. When it came time for my procedure, all involved made sure I was prepared for this and comfortable in our combined decision. Post-procedure, I feel better then ever and am very happy with my decision and the performance of Dr Stieber.

Dr. Stieber operated on me 2x, successfully in 2014 to treat a herniated disk, a bulging disk, & spinal stenosis. In 2016 due to aging & my spine's tendancy for spinal stenosis & bulging disks he performed surgery for L2-L3 laminectomy with TLIF, L5-S1 transfacet decompression with TLIF, and L2-S1 instrumentation. Doc once again did all he could to alleviate my discomfort. I'm a little stiff now but a daily dose of an NSAID relieves that. I consider him a very honest and skilled surgeon.

This doctor is very unprofessional and mean in his patient relation. He disrespected, humiliated and dehumanized me all because of his staff incompetence and inability to their job at a timely manner that resulted in NYU cancelling my surgery booking. I have requested his office to schedule a pre- surgical appointment with NYU physician under my Workman's case, as I couldn't get it done with my PC. Next, Dr Steiber threw my case out, declined my numerous request for an appt to talk him.
