Worst experience of my life
If I could give negative stars I would. He happened to be the on call Dr when I went into labor. This was my first natural labor and I was progressing great. You immediately got the vibe that this dr has no time for you and just wants to get in and out. He didn't even acknowledge my husband and I when we greeted him. He proceeded to say "the only thing stopping me from my breakfast is this baby". I'm not sure if he was trying to be funny but not cool especially since you couldn't even introduce yourself. During labor he kept yelling at me to push when I wasn't contracting. At one point even a nurse yelled out "she isn't contracting”. He then proceeded to do an episiotomy without my consent. Being my first vaginal birth I didn’t realize what he was doing until he had already started. Once baby arrived he immediately ripped out my placenta, again without my consent. Did not wait 30 mins or had me push, mind you I had no epidural so felt it all. There was no communication.

The worse place --run!
All I can say about Dr Tam and his office is that in the 3 months I was being seen, I had never had such an experience like this! Office staff is disorganized, unprofessional and not held accountable for mistakes. Dr. Tam is not too concerned with patient quality care as he sees about a dozen in one hour. Place is filthy. County clinics are better.
