Superb clinician. Diagnosed well, thorough. Great follow up.

Fantastic. Could not be happier with how my visit went. Dr. Ungar was polite, efficient, and straight to the point. We have an action plan in place and I feel very confident now in his care. Highly recommend Dr. Ungar.

Horrible. Saw him in December, decided against taking old med, told office. Thought I had enough refills for other med. pharmacist sent refill electronically twice, called twice, they never responded. I called, they lied said never received. I’m going away and need; they said I must go again for simple refill.

THIS MD IS A WASTE OF TIME. DR. UNGAR LIKES TO USE HIS STUDENTS TO DO THE WORK. HE SENT ONE IN TO SEE ME AS A NEW PATIENT AND WHEN I TOLD HER POLITELY I WANTED TO SPEAK TO THE MD .... HMMM! DR. UNGAR HAS SIMPLY DROPPED ME AS A PATIENT. HE REFUSES TO ANSWER ANY EMAILS OR ADVISE ME OF WHAT I AM TO DO. HE SEEMS LIKE AN IRRATIONAL, HOT-HEAD, AND I WOULD FIND SOMEONE MORE NORMAL.

I was assigned to Dr. Ungar when I regular dermatologist changed his place of service. I have been a patient at Mt. Sinai dermatology for many years and required phototherapy treatment, when schedule was changed that didn't coincide with my schedule, I asked Dr. Ungar for referral to another facility that might accommodate my schedule. His response was "call around to dermatologist offices and ask". I felt this very inappropriate and un-concerned; at the very least he might have asked his secretary to contact me with a general list of facilities that offered phototherapy. I have located another facility and transferred all care there. If I could give less that 1 star I would.
