Dr. Weiss is a life saver!!
I have been a patient of Dr. Weiss’s for over 25-years. I first treated with him at Hampstead Hospital, then followed him to N. Andover. He helped me from age 20 to 45 with an array of serious traumatic events, and in stable times helped me with depression and anxiety. In all my life, I have never had a doctor that listened and was as thoughtful in his feedback as Dr. Weiss. He is kind, thoughtful, and never afraid to look into something he is not familiar with. When I am doing well, Dr. Weiss shows his genuine happiness at his ability to help me. I have never felt a doctor actually personally invested in how I was doing after I left the office, but Dr. Weiss shared my successes and my sorrows as a good friend would, without crossing any professional boundaries. I have recommended several people who told me Dr. Weiss changed their lives and before him they never believed that they were capable of happiness. I too attest to this sentiment.

What would I do without Dr Weiss
I have been seeing Dr Weiss for over 10 years, after seeing several other psychiatric professionals. He is very patient, attentive, and always gives insight and explains things very clearly. He is the only doctor I’ve truly felt comfortable talking to. The office is comfortable, and sessions are very private which makes me feel even more at ease about opening up. The office administrators are always delightful, and return calls same day if they don’t answer when I call. I’ve even done remote sessions during the Covid-19 pandemic and found it to be even more flexible - not that I had any issues with going to the office… I find it harder to make appointments with my PCP than Dr Weiss. By biggest concern is what will I do if/when, I have to change psychiatrist’s! Going to Dr Weiss has changed my life.

I like Dr. Weiss, he is very nice and has done a good job. For a bit there was some office staff issues but those have been straightened out. I have been with him for over 10 years and have no plans to change.

Dr. Weiss is highly intuitive and sensitive, He takes time to understand my personality and asks serious and realistic questions that are always relative to helping me with my concerns and mental state. He is both knowledge and informative on psychiatric diagnosis and medications. He takes immediate action when necessary. I feel lucky to be in his care.

Dr. Weiss wrote my brother scripts for Xanax and Adderall without ever meeting him. I just came from his wake. 23 year old man with a child.

Ive been going to Dr. Weiss for over 10 years and over the past year the office staff has had problems. For over 1 month I've tried to get in touch with someone from the office to either make an appointment or get my prescription filled. No one answers the phone and I have left dozens of messages with no return phone call. It's gotten to the point where I'm telling my primary care doctor that his office is closing so he can write my prescription until I find a new doctor.

This office is very poorly run. I would say 1 out of 100 times you call you might get someone to answer. Never in all the times my husband and I have called have we EVER had someone return our call. Mostly we call and call and call sometimes 10xday for over a week until we finally talk to a person. We've been told we can pick up a script in the office or sometimes told it will be mailed and it never arrives in the mail or is not ready in the office. I would not recommend anyone initiating care.

Dr. Weiss is the first psychiatrist who has ever LISTENED to me and treated me like a human being. Best psychiatrist around. If you're looking, go to him!
