The family doc for my family
I drive from a different county just to see Dr.step. She always listens, and makes me feel like she’s taking my concerns seriously. My kids love her as well! She’s the doc I trust for my family! Followed her to her new office and I’ll follow wherever she goes.

Doesn't listen to patients well enough imo.
Might help to ask questions or do an exam when patient expresses a medical concern. Instead was totally dismissed as if nothing was wrong. Unreal!

Dr. Stepp “evaluated” my mother after her previous doctor retired. My mother is 4 months post operative from major surgery. She takes a controlled substance to help with common post operative pain and has zero history of drug seeking as she’s been a patient of that clinic for the past 15 years and has never received a controlled substance previously. Dr. Stepp did not even perform a physical exam. She clearly did not review her medical history. She accused her of drug seeking without even physically evaluating her or discussing what she’s been going through. Instead of working with my mother to help devise a plan to gradually reduce the need for a controlled substance post operatively, she refused to provide appropriate care. It is astounding the lack of care that Dr. Stepp failed to provide. I am acutely aware that there is an opioid crisis in our state of WV; however, Dr. Stepp lacks the intelligence and compassion to distinguish those with an addiction and those needing help.

What visit? For months have been refuse office visits if you "show up". Yet cannot get anyone on the phone. Have been relying on Med Express. Wife has discontinued all treatments and is improving.

Dr. Stepp is very knowledgeable. She spends time with us and listens. I trust her. I’m actually a family doctor myself and I love that Dr Stepp takes care of our whole family, including my new baby. Love the office staff as well. Highly recommended!

Was looking forward to see a new Dr. in our area. Before seeing me I needed to be “approved”. I was sent forms to fill out, which I did and sent back immediately. A week and a half later I called to make sure that they had received my forms because I really needed to see someone. I was told that they couldn’t find them so they either didn’t get them or the Dr. had them they weren’t sure. Not professional at all. I have never had to be approved to see a Dr. that is accepting new patients.
