Neurologist Joohi Jimenez-Shahed, MD, is one of the finest doctors I have ever seen. She is thorough, knowledgeable, attentive, and kind. I am never rushed during an appointment and always feel like Dr Jimenez-Shahed's fully focused on me and is wholly invested in my health care.

I started as a patient of Dr. Jankovic in 2008 at BCM's Parkinson Disease Center. However, I preferred how Dr. Shahed takes more time to explain things thoroughly with you and encourages you to ask questions, so I switched. I felt that was somewhat lacking from Dr. Jankovic. Also, she is very knowledgeable and inspires trust and confidence from her patients. Would recommend to anyone. My only gripe is that her schedule is very full, so u have to wait to months get an appointment if u miss one.

Horrible appointment. After a semi- thorough exam, I was told my progressive gait disturbance and other problems are caused by stress and a loss of confidence in my walking ability. Absolutely absurd and insulting to those who need medical attention. Don't waste your time.

I've been taking my mother-in-law to Dr. Shahed for 5 years. Her old neurologist left Baylor 5 years ago and we decided to stay with Baylor, so Dr. Shahed became our doctor. She is very thorough and sincere. Our old doctor was also good, but was not too personable. And since we decided to stay at Baylor, we rarely have to wait long to see Dr. Shahed.
