Don't recommend
I hardly write negative reviews but I feel like this one is needed for this doctor. Very unprofessional, seems to lack knowledge & doesn't care at all. He is quick to just give his opinion instead of performing tests to further investigate what's going on. I don't want an opinion, I want full on proof why something isn't right. He just wanted to hurry out of the room to go stand around scrolling on his phone. It was a complete waste of my time seeing this doctor. I'll go see a different doctor who actually takes into consideration of patients needs & cares. Why bother being a doctor if you clearly don't care about your job?

This doctor should have their license revoked and should not be allowed to work in an emergency room setting. He does not have the training to be capable of providing medical treatment in an emergency. I am a middle aged man who was suffering symptoms of covid-19 including fever and dizziness, and the doctor failed to perform any tests or medical evaluation. Instead, the doctor told me I appeared to be physically fine, and do not qualify for medical treatment and sent me away sick and in pain. Later I found out I was in fact positive and needed to be treated for my symptoms. The hospital must be suffering financially, as I cannot think of any reason for his horrible treatment of a sick patient. I would not recommend seeing Dr. Harp.

My husband was referred to the ER by our Primary Care Physician. We were reluctant to go because of Covid but were told there could be dire consequences if we didn't. His BP was high and his pulse rate low. At one point while in the ER the pulse was 38. When we were admitted to a room after a 3 hour wait Dr. Harp came in and dismissed us in less than 10 minutes. He told us that there was really no reason to come to the ER. When we explained that we were advised to do so by our primary physician, we were told that a primary would approach our problem from the numbers only. ER had a different approach and since I didn’t present any symptoms like chest pain, dizziness, muscle weakness in the arms or drooping facial muscles there was nothing that could be done in the ER. I was told to go home and come back only if those symptoms presented. We contacted our PCP the next day. The PCP was appalled by this and encouraged me to contact the hospital patient relations.

I sat with Dr Harp at Clovis community hospital E.R. and he did not have one single answer for me on what was going on with me or my kids. He guessed and wrote 2 different prescriptions. Later he told me he doesn't know and it's not his job in the E.R. to diagnose patients, but only to determine if it's an emergency or not, which CLEARLY it's not. Then we have to check with our REGULAR Dr and they may tell us something completely different." I asked for another opinion which he denied.
