Dr. Romero called me out of the blue after a session to part ways because he's unhappy I was working with an additional Dr. to get help! I would not recommend any of my friends or family seeing him! He has no empathy and is completely disconnected.

Dr. Jordan Romero is Terrible
Like other reviewers, I had an awful experience with Dr. Romero. If you feel like your psychiatrist is judging you rather than helping you - something is wrong! He never really listened or offered helpful advice, and instead would cut off conversations with dismissive and judgmental comments. I am surprised he is in this field. I found him to be rude and unhelpful.

I felt like he was judgmental, which is the opposite of what I need from a mental health provider. He is not a good listener and I found his general attitude to be uncaring.

I saw him for about half a year, I notice he’s rather “off” pretty quickly. He rolls his eyes, he raises his voice, etc. He gave my own brother advice (I mistakenly did give him the green light to speak with my brother), to get my entire family to move on from me. He told them I’m a train wreck and they should move on emotionally. It’s been a year with a new doctor. I’m doing great and my family and I have reconciled. This “doctor” has become the families talking point on why a good doctor is so important.

I like him. He's no-nonsense and tells you what you need to hear (not what you want to hear). I think that is important when dealing with anxiety issues (especially since my mind likes to make things worse than they actually are).

For a gay depressed may, I find Dr. Romera just the ticket to add a smile to my day. He is professional and handsome. I always look forward to my visits. My first visit or two, I had told myself I wasn't going back either, but his sweet southern charm and beautiful smile won me over.

I went to see Dr Romero at the recommendation of my therapist. The antidepressant that I have been using for many years was not seeming to keep me feeling level and less depressed. It took me some time to realize that I was spending more time alone and sleeping I went to see Dr Romero and had a long consultation with him-he was very thorough -non threatening and made me feel comfortable. We added an additional medication to my current one and I am doing so well. He is a pro !!! Peg
