Dr. Jorge Enriquez, MD

Dr. Enriquez is cordial, caring and a great surgeon. His office is extremely efficient and the staff are friendly. I have had experience with 2 other top surgeons in Bakersfield. He was the one who ended up doing the procedure. Having him actually do my surgery and give me medical care has made me so grateful for him.

Absolutely beyond trust Dr. Enriquez. Smart, good judgment, adaptable personality who is quick witted, seemed to catch onto my “it is what is, so I like to laugh through the pain” attitude and makes you feel confident and comfortable going into such a scary procedure, potentially life ending due to my young age and health predispositions. Beyond lucky he was on call that day due to me being such a high risk patient. I even remember him standing at my bed side and I asked to be spared the details to make sure I went into operation with a clear and positive mind, prayed everything would go smooth and left it to the pro! He respected my wishes and told me he’d do everything he could to ensure my safe recovery. I no longer need to mask my excruciating abdominal pain. I am healthier than I have been over my struggle the last two year and than ever since that procedure. My transplant team was so impressed by my turn around post op.m they’re discussing my 2nd hernia surgery before emergency.

I was diagnosed with gallstones in 2017 no symptoms but November 2022 I started having symptoms abdominal pain and lower back pain went to ER and the doc there got me in contact with Dr Enriquez office got an appointment same day and two weeks later scheduled for surgery I was very scared but Dr Enriquez told me that all would be ok . Answered all my questions and the day of my surgery he came to see me before I was taken in and said not to worry all will be fine . He is a very nice and humble person and a very good surgeon I wish I would have met him before but now I have his number if ever need anything again he is my go to surgeon. Also Natasha the surgery scheduler is an awesome person I think I called her like 10 times worried and crying and she always talked to me and calmed my fears very happy with my outcome both doctor and Natasha are God sent bless you guys always

I wish I see him always for any visit he gives me very good Energy, I have a surgery for my gallbladder because always I have a Nausea and vomiting ,after done surgery everything gone!!!!! Thank you so much my Dr Enriquez ! I wish all the best GOD Bless you??????

Dr. Enriquez performed my umbilical hernia repair. He did an outstanding job. My wife felt very secure that he was going to do the repair. We are grateful for his expertise and leaving us with a sense of security and health in my healing process.

Dr Enrique's is very professional, kind,understanding, and upfront about procedures. I had a port o Cath for Chemo placed by Dr Enrique's. Later to sch breast removal.

5 yrs ago I was shocked to find out that I was carrying an apple sized cancerous tumor in my colon. The cancer was only months away from spreading to vital organs. Dr Enriquez performed a hemi-colectomy and related appendectomy. His skills and bedside manner were impeccable then; and my oncologist just gave me my third "all clear" opinion. The proof is always in the results. Dr Enriquez is a gift to his community. Only his many philanthropic endeavors outshine his surgical prowess. I would trust my children to his counsel and care.

It would be an understatement to define Dr. Enriquez as one of the finest surgeons we have here in the U.S. I am a cancer patient whom he operated on and needless to say he has great skills as well as wide-range and in-depth knowledge of his science. I am a doctor of economics and based on this I am a keen skeptic of everything yet I can easily conclude that this very skillful, intellectual, intuitive, humble, kind compassionate doctor is one whom you would lucky to have.

He is top notch, golden!! I immediately felt at ease with him, he is a very easy person to talk to. He made me feel like family, I love his personality and he just makes you feel better, I left there feeling motivated, and relaxed, I had no doubt in my mind that I was in good hands. His office staff are very professional. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Enriquez is a wonderful doctor, I was rushed to the hospital in great pain and he performed colon surgery the next day, he is trustworthy, great personality and is very deserving of the rewards he has achieved. His office staff is very pleasant and helpful.

I will definitely recommend Dr. Enriquez. He is a great doctor! However, I was very upset with one of the receptionist when she asked me to step outside if my baby continued to cry. Mind you my baby is 3 months old and she had just woken up and was fussy. The receptionist had the nerve to tell me out loud, in front of the other patients. I found this very disrespectful! Babies cry and make noise, etc. They are BABIES!!

He is simply the best doctor in Bakersfield. Very professional, charitable, and with a great heart. It is definitely different from the rest of the doctors I know.

This surgeon, spent nine hours, in the operating room, fighting to save my husbands life, when his colon, ruptured, and his organs started to shut down. Not only did he save his life, (but even after having to turn him back over to the Dr. that did exploratory surgery, three days earlier, and felt no need for surgery), he still came to check on my husband.
