Dr. garcia is exceptional. Unfortunately he no longer takes my coverage and now I have to find someone to check a growth on my face I don’t know how I could ever find someone to replace him

Originally went to Apex Dermatology as a referral from my doctor. I had a suspicious spot above my eye. I was seen by the CNP. She reviewed the spot above my eye and determined it was nothing to be concerned about. However, I had another spot on my temple. That one needed to be removed. It has healed up nicely. I then went for a routine full body check. Nothing additional of concern was found. I spend a lot of time in the sun when cycling and I feel better knowing my skin has been looked at. Made a follow-up appointment for next year. My daughter is a nurse and agrees that this is a good practice to follow!

I've been a patient at Apex Dermatology for about 15 years and have 2 Mohs surgeries for cancer done by Dr. Garcia and many freezing's and biopsies. I have always been treated with respect, dignity and cordiality. I trust these doctors! I was there last week and Dr. Mckeen did my bi-annual body check. She found two lesions that I wasn't even aware of.

I originally went to Apex because I had a weird spot on my neck. They got me in the same day and removed the suspicious growth (benign!). That was the positive. I scheduled a "all-over" skin check because I felt it's something that should be done after a lifetime of outdoor activities. I fully expected to be thoroughly examined with a bright light and a magnifying glass because sometimes abnormal spots cannot be seen with the naked eye. Nope. The overhead flourescent light and the nurse practioner's eyes were "good enough." I have a pink spot on my cheek that I was concerned about. Her response? "Well, if I can't see it, you don't have to worry about it." (I see it with a magnifying mirror at home) This was the quickest (5 minutes or so) and incomplete exam that I'll ever be expected to pay for. I was asked if I want to schedule my appointment for next year. Ummmm, no, I'll have my husband do it. It'd be about the same. Next "doctor" please......

The office staff were the coldest people I have ever encountered in a medical office. You could freeze ice on their behinds. Didn't even see the doctor, saw the nurse practitioner. Will never go back!

Did not see doctor was seen by CNP. She spent about 5 minutes with me including treatment. The exam room had two trays of open medication, syringes, swaps from previous patients. The wall had chunks of plaster missing.

My wife visited Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga to review and remove moles. Dr. wanted to remove four moles with good reason. Medically all went well. However, it seems that office has a practice of trying to overcharge patients. Dr. insisted removing each small mole with separate visit allowing charging separately office fees for each visit. This seemed totally unnecessary. Eventually Dr. agreed to remove two moles with one visit. Over charging left bad taste of the whole service. Do not recommend.
