Dr. Jorge Hurtado-Cordovi, MD

Dr Hurtado has no respect for anyones time. On both appointments I was the first patient. The first time he showed up 45 min late and the second time which I ended up cancelling was going on 30 min He is not apologetic and his demeanor is very arrogant not a good combination to treat cancer patients. On the other hand the Oncology institute where he works is a circus. Operations manager Lazaro has never reached back in a period of 1 month while leaving 2 messages to please contact me. To change an appointment you will wait another 45 min to finally show up and find out they never made it Their referral team just the same 2 weeks to get an MRI referral and there is no way anyone on that department answers their phone either. When asked for a refund on my copay, since I decided not to stay due to the tardiness of Dr Hurtado again, they proceed it to say they can’t do it the same day Probably I will end up disputing the charges. So I hope this helps future patients

I was a patient of Dr. Hurtado in 2018. I lived in south Florida at the time. I had been diagnosed with a stage 4 cancer. Dr. H was very well versed in the treatment protocol for my condition. We chose a very aggressive treatment protocol. I am so grateful to have had him as my Dr. So early in my journey. He even came in on weekends on a few occasions when it was necessary for my treatment. Due to his treatment I was able to return to my home town, continue treatment, and continue to improve.

Rudest and most self-centered person I have ever met. No respect for others and thinks he's a god because he wears a white coat and has a stethoscope around his neck. Unfortunately, I went to the right medical center but encountered the wrong doctor.
