Gastroenterologist, not Primary Care experienced
I met with this doc who seemed to respect patient input but who, later, took control of filtering patient experience. Specifically, prescription history. I am elderly and resent being treated as a child by a pompous colonoscopy tech.

Listens, evaluates, great feedback, Professional
From the people who answered the phone, to the front desk help, the nurses all the way to Dr. Rodriguez; I could not be happier with this entire staff. I found every person I dealt with to be professional, upbeat and knowledgeable. Being new to Medicare, I was not looking forward to getting acquainted with a new doctor and had low expectations. I was so happy to walk into a large, beautiful office, with plenty of seating and see a smiling staff waiting to help me. Dr. Rodriguez was fantastic. He listened to me and went through my chart and my history thoroughly. I feel like I'm in very good hands and hope to have a long doctor, patient relationship; I will be recommending my friends to him.

Stay away
I had a bizarre experience my first meeting with the Dr. He's not sympathetic and spent most of the meeting challenging medical facts. I realized after when he added his notes, that he has some animosity to people that need to mask and basically put a bunch of lies in my chart that I had to call Eisenhower patient services to get removed.

Dr Rodriguez was a wonderful surprise. I haven't been able to find a doctor that checks all the boxes. He listens, is knowledgeable, answers questions, he has a sense of humor, helps you hear what you might ignore. These are the things that matter to me. I am very happy to have found Dr Rodriguez, I sure hope he stays with Eisenhower.

Dr. Rodriguez is great! This was my first visit with the doctor and he made me feel at ease from the moment he came into the room, he spoke to me like a friend and he explained the two unrelated issues I recently began experiencing clearly and even threw in a little humor to lighten the mood. I have had a difficult time finding a PCP who is a competent and caring physician who puts the patient first

Dr. Rodriguez needs to fire his office manager. I have never seen such a disaster in my life. People should not be waiting in waiting rooms during Covid spikes and there SHOULD be ample hand-sanitizer for patients... which there has NOT been on my last 2 visits. I have brought these issues up with the staff and the office manager a couple times and No change. Additionally, the office manager had a hissy fit because he said I hadn't paid my last co-pay of (2 weeks prior) and that I couldn't see the doctor until I paid. BTW this was IN the office that i was told this. NOT once, was I made aware of this before, but he was so persnickety, insisting he sent out numerous bills. Really? It was 2 weeks!!!!! I will never see Dr Rodriguez again for all the above reasons.
