Dr. Jose Anzaldua Jr, MD

Sadly like some of the other negative reviews. He was nice my first visit the next abrupt. Also he makes you go in seemingly unnecessarily to "have labs" again. And insurance sometimes won't cover the 2nd time to get tested. So its an additional office visit and lab work that may or may not be covered. It's not been a pleasant experience.

Had a GREAT VISIT with Dr Anzuldua. He is very experienced in Diagnosing issues. Very easy to talk to and very compassionate.

Stay away from this unorganized office !! Worst experience :(

My whole family were patients for a little more than a year. Dr. Anzuldua was abrupt, wouldn't listen to questions or concerns and when we needed regular prescription refills, wouldn't refill them without coming in for an appointment. (Even if he had just seen us the month before) We all moved to Village Family Practice and have been MUCH happier with our care.

One of the worst doctors I’ve ever had. I asked a couple of questions and he hollered at me that he didn’t have time to answer all my questions even though he spent about 5 minutes before he had to go. I fired him as my doctor. God complex!

I was a patient of Dr. Anzaldua for over 20 years. The past few years I just got tired of his antics. My only health issue was high cholesterol and took meds for that. I would always sit in the exam room for at least 30 minutes before he came in and I had the first appointment. A couple of years ago he started making me come in every 6 months (only issue was high cholesterol). He told me my insurance required it. Wrong! I called my insurance and also talked to my HR manager. They said no insurance company would require this especially for my medical history. His 6 month check up was nothing more than talking. The final straw came when I needed my cholesterol med refilled. He wouldn't do it. The doctor office told the pharmacy I needed to make an appointment. I already made an appointment, but it was only ONE month past my due date for my 6 month check up. He wouldn't even give me a one month refill. His nurse/s were never friendly and don't seem to stay long.

I don't always like what he says, but he is 99.9% correct everytime. He listens and explains. He has been my doctor for about 30 years, and my children's doctor as well rather than a pediatrician. Today, he helped me find the right care for my dad who is 90.

Had Appt. At 9:30am. I showed up 15min. Early as is advised. Showed to room on time & then sat for almost 45min. With no one to explain why Dr. Anzaldua was being held up. I finally walked out with no service. Will be challenging Co-Pay. Terry.

He will drop you after 25 years with no previous notice and not a thought to your care. His staff is the rudest and uncaring people ever and have always been for 25 years as well. Over the past 25 years the staff has changed but each new crew is as rude as the last. But have put up with them because Dr Joe cared. But he doesn't anymore and have to assume his staff will still be as crappy and rude as always.Or worse than ever. And now he isn't what he used to be as well.
