Dr. Jose Garcia, MD

There is sometimes a wait to see Dr. Garcia, but that is always because he takes the time to listen and address all patient concerns when it is their turn. His staff is very helpful and professional, though, and they keep him on track! He has a nurse that will return phone calls for him and she usually gets back with you the same day. There was one occasion when I had a question in regards to how another injury would affect the gynecological aspects of my health and it did take his nurse more than a week to call me back with a response, but that was because Dr. Garcia wanted to do more research before giving me an answer because he was unfamiliar with my situation (which was not related at all to gynecology) and I REALLY appreciated that he took the time to find a decent answer (and likely consult other doctors in his circle) to get me an accurate answer. Not many doctors would do that nowadays, so I have to say that this man rocks!

My wife is 36 weeks pregnant and came in for a routine stress test with Dr. Garcia. He made her wait 2 hours before he saw her. When he did come see her, he was extremely rude and did not check any of her vitals, ask how she was doing, etc. She asked him why he was so late and let him know this was not acceptable. He told her that he couldn't do anything about it and to find a new doctor. For a OB to treat a pregnant woman like this is completely unacceptable and the clinic and Dr. Garcia should be ashamed.

I have been with Dr. Garcia for many years! He's excellent and listens. He does not bring in a computer, so he has to listen well! He's never lead me wrong and always tells me pros and cons of somwthing.

I always feel comfortable with Dr. Garcia. I know he will listen to my concerns, and get me the answers I need. I've been going to him since I was 16, he truly is the best and I am so lucky to have him as my doctor.

Dr Garcia and his practice are one of the best medical teams I’ve ever been seen by. His patience with patients who ask a lot of questions is unmatched by any of GYN in my past. He has a great personality and his staff is kind and friendly. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, friendly, and compassionate OB/GYN practice. I live in California and fly back to Atlanta to see him.

Dr. Garcia always makes me feel comfortable. He's down to earth, explains everything, goes above and beyond to make sure you understand everything, his entire team is awesome!

I cannot say enough about Dr. Garcia. He is so sweet and listens to all of your concerns. He makes sure you know your options before you make your decision. He never rushes me and answers all of the questions my husband and I have. I cannot recommend Dr. Garcia enough! I feel so comforable talking to him. He is amazing and I love seeing him!

An excellent doctor and have no complaints of any care I have received. Been going to him for the 37 years he has been in practice. Only negative, be aware that when you go on Medicare at 65, his practice does not accept Medicare. I never knew this in advance of turning 65 or I would have established with another Doctor that accepts Medicare with long term dedicated patients. Very stressful when you need medical care to find a doctor that accepts new Medicare Patients. Very sad situation.
