Delays, delays and more delays
I waited 1 hour today for my follow up with the NP. Already had my procedure and my appointment was scheduled for 10 and they started the procedure all most three hours late. That’s rude. And very poor patient experience. Why even have an appointment? I wish I had a better experience.

Disappointed
My experience? Bad very bad. I don’t pay to be attended by the nurse practitioners, 3 hrs waiting, and the day of the endoscopy: bad experience.

Unprofessional physician and practice
Complete disregard for the patient and family member’s time. The appointment was scheduled for 12pm, and the patient wasn’t seen until 3pm. Nationally, the patient had been NPO for nearly 48 hours. Totally unprofessional behavior from a physician. I would never recommend him.

Where is he? Waiting 2 hours and no doctor...
I had a 1:00 colonoscopy appointment today 04/21/2022. I completed my preprep successfully the day before as instructed. I showed up 25 minutes early signed in, signed all forms and was sent to the prep area. The nurse came in and placed the IV port into my arm. 2 hours later and no doctor. I asked if he's coming? Nurse said IDK he doesn't answer his phone. I was told he does this often with no explanation. In the mean time 7 other patients were prepped and waiting also. All scheduled for 1:00 (I asked) and no doctor. I finally gave up and told the nurse I had to go. This was the most unprofessional doctor I have tried to see in my life. I DO NOT recommend him. His staff was very professional and apologetic. To bad Dr. Rodriguez is NOT...

I was a patient there and I heard him tell his secretary that he only wanted new patients on his schedule. He was furious because there was a follow up on his schedule. He also said that if he had new patients for colon screening he wanted the nurse practitioners to see them. I walked out and have never been back.

He is awesome. Great bedside manner. I realize that for some of my routine follow ups that I will see one of his excellent nurse practitioners but that's fine with me. I know he is there for me if I need him. I have been scheduled with the nurse practitioner for a routine follow up but I had a new concern. The staff brought him right in and I was seen by both the nurse practitioner and the doctor at the same visit. They surely go out of their way to make sure that your concerns are dealt with.

Dissatisfied patient in Pharr, TX – Jul 07, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Rodriguez?
I have been a patient of Dr. Rodriguez for more than a decade and I find him to be the very best when it comes to, caring and following up on any condition. He is busy, but I can assure you, Dr. Rodriquez cares more than most doctors. If you know it will take time when you go to his office, if you have that mind set, it really isn't that bad.

Dr Rodriguez helped me after I had already seen multiple specialists. I had to wait about an hour in his office, but it was well worth it. He spent a lot of time with me even though his office was full. He figured out my problem on my first visit and I am finally back to feeling well. I am so thankful that a friend suggested that I go see him. He is the best!!!!

Awesome doctor. Worked me in the same day. He saved me from having to go to the emergency room. I know other patients had to wait because of me, but that's what good doctors do. They have to triage emergency patients first. Thank God for caring doctors like Dr Rodriguez.

The wait time to actually see the doctor is always over an hour. They've canceled appointments without notification and when I've showed up they argue that they called and left messages. Dr. Rodriguez has horrible bedside manners aside from always running late. Waited about 2 hours for him to show up to an endoscope.

The front desk and nurse staff met all levels of professionalism. Dr. Jose Rodriguez on the other hands has no compassion or consideration for his patience. Three hour wait is unacceptable. Dr. Rodriguez could've informed his staff about running behind schedule or could've ask his partner for assistance. Five elderly patients had the same wait time ( which had been fasting and probably had not taken there daily medication). Dr. J.Rodriguez - My time is valuable too, is all I have to say.

Expect to wait more than an hour, they make you sign a paper that states, "respect the doctor's time, what about our time? Get a referral to another office. Here you will never see the doctor you will see his assistant.
