Dr. Joseph Anain Jr, DPM

I made an appointment with dr anain but was never actually seen by dr anain. He had a resident do all of his work. He also lied in his after visit notes stating he was present during the entire exam. The only reason I saw him for a second was because I was having a bad reaction to the numbing medication and he came in to say “that toe looks deformed!” This was one of the worst doctor experiences I have ever had. While the resident i saw did great, I did not make an appointment with a resident. I would never go back there and I wish I never made an appointment in the first place and wish I went somewhere else.

I made an appointment well in advance for the 25th of the month so I would go before a scheduled vacation. I received a call on the 21st to confirm my appointment. I then received a call on the 22nd saying the doctor was unavailable and I would need to reschedule. I was told the next available appointment wasn't for 3 weeks. I explained that I needed to come in before my vacation which. No help was given to accommodate this and they honestly didn't care. When I said I would just not reschedule at this time the receptionist said 'OK' and hung up, no goodbye, no effort to help.

So went for smelly feet and I had callauses on my big toes the Dr who I saw asked if I wanted them shaved down I asked her if it’s covered by my insurance she said she’ll check she was gone 5-10 Minutes and when she came back she said yes! Now I have a bill for $400 for that when you told me it’s covered!!! I will be calling a supervisor! And btw the antibiotic she prescribed for my athletes foot is NOT HELPING!
