Dr. Joseph Bornstein, MD

Dr. Bornstein is personable informative and concerned. Answered all my questions and didn’t seem rushed. I highly recommend him.

I’ve been dealing with colorectal issues for months and after multiple doctors and procedures I decided to try Dr. Bornstein. He listened to my concerns, was highly professional, explained everything in a clear and concise manner, and was overall a kind and caring doctor. He is a doctor who truly cares about his patients well-being. The staff at his practice are also kind and considerate, and making an appointment was quick and easy. I have already recommended his practice to 2 of my family members and I will continue to do so.

Dr. Bornstein was wonderful with me. Having cancer is a difficult time in ones life and Dr. Bornstein took the time to answer my questions and the questions my spouse had, as well. He was smart and plain spoken in description of what we are about to face. As is ordinary with caner one's mind goes into a million directions and he fielded our relentless questioning patiently and with compassion. Let's see how the surgery goes! I'll check back in then.

I've been in providence hospital with rectal problems dr bornstien took one look at me and said were going to take action now he admitted me to providence and did a lot of test they located and diagnosed problem and made a plan for the next step. Ive heard Dr Bornstien's dad was the presidents doctor at one time well let me tell everyone Dr Bornstien his staff and providence treated me like I was the president im so happy to have them helping me

I was seen and given a 3 week regimen of OTC meds and told to return and he would help me with my problem in his office. I done his regimen, returned to an ultimatum of I needed to do a colonoscopy since I had never had one at my age of 45. I told him due to my AVM and 3 aneurysms I would do it after my radiation closed the AVM. He told me he would perform it without sedation or anything, but I could handle it. I refused, and he refused to help me. Worked in hospitals 16yrs, never hear of this!!

Dr. Bornstein explained the evaluation of the ct scan. He recommended a conservative approach with medication as opposed to surgery (a different application for a surgeon).
