Dr. Joseph Cleveland, MD

De Cleveland performed a double CABG on me 13 years ago at the VA Hospital. He was able to do the bypass without stopping my heart or putting me on the heart-long machine. My recovery was quick and the results amazing!! It’ss bit late but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You are an amazing, gifted doctor.

Joe is a really nice person. That said, he is also extremely professional, dedicated, and quite obviously good at what he does. Dr. Cleveland gave it to me straight: I needed heart surgery, or things could get worse. I was almost relieved, as my life had become limited. I would try to hike, and I would get heart palpitations. I would carry groceries up a flight of stairs, and feel like I just ran a mile. It was not a good situation for me, as I am in my mid-forties, and could not imagine living-out my days like that. It has now been eleven months since surgery. I have hiked numerous mountains, travelled around the country, and exercise regularly without the issues that plagued me prior to surgery. Yes, heart surgery is dangerous, but Dr. Cleveland is one of the best, and I am lucky to have been his patient. My life is far better today, and I owe that to Joe and his team.

I speak for me and my wife when I say this; there is not enough room on this post to thoroughly describe how well rounded of a physician that Dr. Cleveland really is. He successfully performed a complicated open heart mitral valve repair on my wife in Nov'18 at the University of Colorado Hospital in Denver. Being a great gifted surgeon would have been enough but his compassion and confidence building with his patients are admirable. He and his whole team were the best I've ever witnessed.
