Dr. Joseph Coughlin, MD

Horrible bedside manner. I would give zero stars if possible. He used to be my doctor, thankfully I found another practice at Lutheran that actually listens and treats their patients. He is disgusting

Dr. Coughlin delivered all three of my babies. My first baby I was in labor for 72 hours and he helped me get through it with no problems. Whenever I had a question he would always return my calls personally. I have referred him to family and friends. Even when my insurance changed I paid out of my own pocket to see him. Best ob/gyn Doctor ever.

I had an appointment with this doctor today, who took 3 minutes exactly to see me. I will never see this doctor again! I had a bad case of vertigo and he told me its a common problem, nothing he can do. When in actually there is as I have seen a doctor about this previously. Did not bother answering any of my questions and basically told me he couldn't do anything, and this was after being told I needed to go to the VA Emergency Room, but instead I took this appointment. Huge mistake and waste

Dr. Coughlin is one of the few doctors who do not rush you through an office visit. He does not overbook his day, which allows time to discuss issues, concerns or questions you may have. He is very caring, and he puts his patients at ease. He answers all questions honestly, thoroughly, and with a great bedside manner. He calls to go over all test results (even routine ones) instead of leaving the task to a staff member. His office staff and nurses are all very professional and helpful.
