Dr. DeHaven has been treating my Type I diabetes for almost 42 years now. He also keeps an eye on a number of other autoimmune diseases that I have. He spends a good amount of time with me at every visit, listens carefully to what I have to say, and is an excellent diagnostician. I don’t know what I’d do without him.

Absolutely the best to take care of my type 1 diabetes. Before I found him my A1C was running 10. Now, it is 7ish. He is kind, funny, and very personable. He spends as much time as necessary to get to the root of the problem and NEVER makes me feel he is in a rush. No other Dr. has done such a through exam on me. For 8 years my GP was taking care of my diabetes with poor results. The last dr. made me feel that his allotted time (which is 12 minutes-according to staff) was running out and all he could do is type on computer. Not Dr. DeHaven. He is awesome. He ‘alone’ has improved my quality of life substantially. Great diagnostician. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming. I am so glad Dr. D does not have the fancy big office and latest computer toys. He saves money and he does pass it on to his patients. My office visit with the last GP was 3 times what he charges. And Dr. D is a specialist with a stellar reputation. I will always recommend him. Marlene Lofton

OVER-RATED AND GREEDY. WILL DIAGNOSE AND PRESCRIBE BASED ON THE HIGHEST PAY-OUT FOR MEDS. LOST FAITH IN MEDICAL FIELD. OH, AND CHEAP. CAN ONLY PAY VIA CHECK AND IF DIDN'T HAVE AN AUTO IMMUNE ISSUE, WILL FROM THE OLD, DIRTY AND MOLD INFESTED OFFICE.

Dr. Dehaven is the most thorough and best diagnostic physician I have ever seen. His expertise in internal medicine and endocrinology is unsurpassed. I had to move out of GA, but being unable to find a comparable Dr., I fly back just for him to continue to treat me. No one better. The only downside is office staff does not follow up consistently.
