I went to see dr. Donohue because of shoulder pain. He convinced me to have surgery. Many months after the surgery and I'm having worse pain. I talked with him about it and he said do more physical therapy. I did that continually for many sessions along with home work. I would not recommend him to my friends.

I had ACL reconstruction with Dr Donahue in September 2020. I was 35 and he recommended to use donor tissue, achilles cadaver. He immediately recommended prehabilitation physical therapy before the surgery, which can improve recovery speed after surgery. As for the surgery he used 2 dissolvable screws, no metal pins. After 6 months of intensive physical therapy post surgery, I am able to jog and jump, preparing for longer runs.

Dr. Donahue is not only the greatest orthopedic surgeons I've worked with, but hes one of the best doctors I've ever been to in general. I have had 3 different knee injuries (ACL and meniscus on both knees at different times) - all of which Dr. Donahue repaired. He always has made the best decisions for me, which makes recovery that much easier. I feel incredibly comfortable in his presence and trust him completely.

Dr. Donahue was very straight-forward in his diagnosis and what needed to be done. He was clear in his explanations of the x-ray results and the MRI results and answered my questions thoroughly.

I moved to CA knowing I needed surgery for a torn meniscus. I scheduled an appointment for right after my arrival. Dr Donahue was very thorough in showing me the MRI and explaining the issue. I was able to get on the surgery schedule for the next day and the whole team was great. At my follow up appointment Dr Donahue went over the pictures from the surgery and explained what he did. So glad I found the right Dr.

I have been to the SOAR group in the past. It was my first choice for an Orthopedic procedure. My cousin had rotator cuff surgery by Dr. Donahue and recommend I do the same. Great experience!

I've had two surgeries with Dr. Donahue - 1st a right should rotator cuff repair - 2nd a right arm bicep tendon tear. Both surgeries went extremely well, with no difficulties following either one. I like the follow-up procedure SOAR uses - and if I did have questions or concerns Dr. Donahue was extremely prompt in getting back to me. If I needed to see him at the office they were very accommodating. He is very polite, professional, and definitely knows his area of expertise!

He was curtious & efficient. At first, he seemed abrupt. I realized he was a pragmatic. Yet he was also gracious. He was clear & consise on my plan of care & the actions needed to return me to as "normal" a life style as soon as possible. My questions were answered to my satisfaction in unhurried ways. Thank You, Dr Donahue, to you & your team!!!
