I didn’t feel comfortable communicating with the staff and my health didn’t improve after given allergy shots for 2 years.

Not a good choice for food intolerances
This doctor came highly recommended by a friend. I asked for a consultation first w/o tests. I was told that the food intolerances that I have experienced since 2011 were not food intolerances, but anxiety. When I mentioned that I've been having trouble swallowing and food feeling caught in my throat (typical of ppl with food intolerances and called EoE) I was told to chew my food better. I've been previously diagnosed with ragweed and outdoor allergies, sinus infections etc., but he looked into my nose and said I don't have allergies and my nose is clear. All this because I wanted a consultation w/o the expensive allergy testing that I've had numerous times already. I'm disappointed that you can't have a visit with him w/o the testing expense but glad I was about to find out before I invested too much time.

Dr. Fahhoum has treated by daughters severe food allergies since she was 1. We’ve consistently visited ever since, and she’s now 8. He’s always very explanatory, takes his time, makes sure he answers any questions and never tries to push any medications or treatments on you. He gives you options and explains everything for your decisions. He’s very kind to children and always talks right to them as well. The staff is prompt and the wait is usually short, especially getting back into a room is always quick. Payment and insurance is usually very easy as well. We have actually moved to a different state, but we still drive to see him every year. Well worth it.

Dr. Fahhoum is one of the amazing doctors I have ever seen.. A lot of consistent efforts have been spent by him for my father case. The treatment advices given by him even by phone only were fantastic and hit the cases successfully. Big thanks to you.. Regards / Shadi Ashi

Dr. Fahhoum seems great, however, his allergy shot nurse does NOT use gloves, does NOT wash her hands between patients, and after injecting the patients, she sticks her ungloved finger in a jar of cortisone cream, then rubs the injection site ungloved with the cortisone, then returns her finger to the same tub for next patient without washing hands! So, if a patient bleeds a little after the injection, and she rubs her bare fingers over the injection site, then returns same fingers to the tub of cortisone cream, she is potentially cross contaminating every patient with blood borne pathogens/infections such as Hepatitis and HIV. I called and talked to Dr. Fahhoum's regular nurse and she said this is normal SOP, but could make a note in my chart to have the shot nurse glove before my shots if I prefer! I don't think she understands the basics about how blood borne infections are transferred.

Started out loving Dr. Fahhoum. He spent a significant time listening and asking questions on our first appointment, returned phone calls quickly to fromhours answering, etc. Since then, every appointment has been of misinformation from the staff, WRONG testing, and then down right refusing to refill a NEEDED medication without an appointment (which I was never reminded about). Done with this office. The last three appointments have been infuriating.

First up I was surprised that he picks up the phone at any time of the night. But what I found was that his response to questions were evasive and downright unhelpful. On top, he doesnt listen to the patient symptoms and comes to his own conclusions. Spent 6 months under him without any progress since he was supposed to be good. Switched doctors and found within a month that I had polyps after a CT was taken. The other doctor listened and was able to take the best course of action that helped.
