Dr. Joseph Furlin, MD

This is an amazing dr. Delivered my first child. Cares so much. I wanted him for my second child but he works in a group of Dr's now, so can't promise to Deliver when I go into labor. Had made me look for another Dr. That's so sad.

I've been visiting this doc since Nov. and my overall experience isn't so great! I am not pleased with how I am being treated. We came to this OB because he was recommended but sadly my experience is horrible. For one, I feel like a number & not a human being with feelings. He acts as if he is annoyed when questions are being asked. I am a FTM and I have concerns that aren't really being addressed. He is always so much in a rush. When he does answer some questions he doesn't give complete answers or reassuring ones. I do not deserve to be treated like this! Also, he is rough handed with the U/S & current cervical check. I'm still in pain from the most recent cervical check he did on me. He doesn't really take into account my feelings & forces some of his interventions on me. For example he created a test form for 2 vaccines that he didn't even ask me about. AND I know for a fact that these vaccines are optional.

The Best Doctor I have ever meet so caring! Delivered my kids in 2004,2007,2012 and 2017 I ended up with emergency c-section. During the whole time I always knew my babies and I are in great hands. Our safety was always top priority.Thank you for the exceptional great care doc!

I would never switch Doctors, I highly recommend him hes a great doctor.

I used to see Dr. Furlin for my own health reasons, and i was very comfortable with him so when my daughter became pregnant I referred her to him right away. A decision I would come to regret. After the premature delivery of the baby my daughter was very ill, 3 trips to his office an the ER an he kept sending her home saying it would pass. due to his negligence she ended up in the hospital nearly bleeding to death. D&C needed an blood transfusion given. If we listened my daughter would be dead

I couldn't be more grateful to Dr Furlin for taking such good care of me. I had a c section 4 weeks before due date and he was fantastic. His positive attitude is very reassuring and he backs it up with excellent care. I will be his patient for as long as he's practicing in Illinois.

Awesome Doctor, very nice and explained everything very well, the key word is comfortable and that I was. It's so nice to found a Doctor like Dr. Furlin. Very happy with my visit.. Thank You Dr. Furlin and the staff....

Dr. Furlin was my primary doctor throughout my pregnancy. I found him to be professional and courteous. At every visit he was patient and informative. Most times appointments were running a bit behind, but that could be because Dr. Furlin is very thorough with his patients. I was a high risk patient and had to have my child via C-section. I feel parents need to have questions for the doctor as he was very resourceful in helping me to feel at ease during childbirth. He's an excellent Doctor.

The doctor is amazing however the staff members are inconsiderate and rude. The front desk receptionist has an attitude and there are more than 3-4 people working there but everyone is doing their own thing and dont pay attention to patients waiting to ask a question or fill out forms. The appointments go by first come first serve regardless of your actual appointment time. He is a pleasant and knowledgable doctor and should hire better staff.

Horrible experience. Dr was very negligent to my condition. I lost a baby, that could've been prevented but because of Dr's negligence condition got worse.
