Dr. Joseph Hudgens, MD

De. Hudgens was able to find endometriosis in places where previous doctors had not. I have felt relief after surgery, although I am not completely free of the disease, I can already walk better and feel so much less pain than I did prior to excision. Answered all of my questions, explained exactly what would be done, and made sure that I understood everything.

Dr. Hudgens literally changed my life. I’ve suffered from endometriosis since I was 12 years old, and most doctors have just pushed birth control on me. Dr. Hudgens listened and empathized, and we came up with a care plan together. I decided on a total hysterectomy, leaving only ovaries. I felt confident in my decision because he explained everything in a way I could understand. During surgery he discovered I had undiagnosed Adenomyosis as well, so hysterectomy was the right choice. He and his office checked on me several times after surgery, and he calmed me down when I was severely depressed due to continued pain during healing. He explained that it’s a major surgery and that I needed to rest!! I love that he doesn’t sugar coat the facts, but delivers them with empathy. I haven’t had any pain since my hysto and it is all thanks to Dr. Hudgens!
