Dr Kent involves you in the care and decisions he makes regarding your mental health. He listens attentively and shows compassion. I am comfortable in speaking with him even though mental health is not a topic I like talking about. Highly recommend Dr Kent

The Best

I have been receiving psychiatric care for almost 20 years and Dr. Kent is by far the best. He is heaven sent. He’s been my doctor for most of the last several years. I started seeing him outpatient at CHI Immanuel and then followed him to Methodist in Fremont. This man not only saved my life, but he gave me the care I needed to live my life and function. He wants to know you as a person so he can care for you the way you need. You aren’t a number. You’re a person. I honestly don’t know where I would be without him. He’s compassionate and patient, and the cheerleader I need. He’s LGBTQIA+ competent which is rare in Nebraska. Because of his care, I feel like I can live a normal, happy, fulfilling life. We need more providers like him. He’s a brilliant man. Thank you, Dr. Kent, thank you.

I have followed Dr Kent from UNMC to CHI and am now going to see him at his new clinic. I have been very sick for a very long time and I have never had anywhere near the comprehensive care and progress anywhere that I have had with him and his teams (that he managed).

Dr. Kent - Psychiatrist
Dr. Kent is very kind and extremely helpful. He explains everything perfectly. He worked in the ECT department at Immanuel Hospital, where he took the time and effort to make sure that his patients were treated properly and with such care. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a new psychiatrist.

Suggesting Dr. Kent continue with ECT
I met Dr. Kent during my ECT treatments at Immanuel Hospital. He was caring and took time to explain why some of my symptoms are still present.

I met Dr. Kent during an inpatient psychiatric stay at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, NE. He was a substitute doctor for me when my inpatient psychiatrist went on vacation. Dr. Kent listened to my concerns and had compassion on my condition. He suggested a method of treatment (ECT) that I would have never considered under any circumstances but his clear explanations and his total confidence in my potential to survive my critical depression was the first ray of hope I had experienced in years. I trusted his advice and the six ECT treatments he administered saved my life. I will always be grateful to Dr. Kent and his instincts into my specific situation, as well as the AMAZING nursing staff that assisted during ECT. (Update: One year later, I am stable, healthy, and actually consider myself HAPPY. I hope he and my nurses get to see this review and know how grateful I am.)
