I'm seeing Dr. Kiearnan for about 10 years. He always has time to check on me, listen to me, and do right things to keep me alive. He, and people at Virginia Heart provide world class services. Thank you for keeping me alive for 10 years!

While no current issues, but with a family history that is an indicator of concern. I wanted to develop a program to monitor and manage. I am very pleased with structure of testing and monitoring and his consistently insightful advice. I look forward to continuing to work with him and his team for many years.

As always, Dr. Joseph Kiernan was well-prepared for my recent semi-annual check-up. He reviewed the results of lab tests he had ordered and my current vital signs. He performed a careful physical exam. He presented his assessment of my cardiovascular health in plain language, explaining the meaning of technical medical terms and their implications for my quality of life. He answered my questions clearly and directly. He reviewed the medicines he prescribed for my conditions and ordered refills. He provided me recommendations on feasible exercise, weight, and cardiovascular fitness goals to be attained with assistance from my diet coach and personal trainer. His calm manner is always reassuring. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Kiernan's professional knowledge and skill, and firmly believe that following his recommendations affords me the best opportunity for improvement of my health and many active years ahead.

Dr. Kiernan is an excellent Doctor. He is very professional, patient, caring, good listener and very knowledgeable in the cardiac profession. He's been attending to my heart needs since 2008! I would truly recommend him to anyone in need of cardiac Healthcare.

My visit was very very good with doctor Kiernan my only challenge is that he is very difficult to get an appointment usually at least 6 months, So you have to plan accordingly.

Dr Kiernan is always very pleasant and kind!!! He advises me on activities to do to keep my heart strong and healthy. His medical assessment and overview of my medications is always very thorough, which I truly appreciate! Dr Kiernan is a caring and compassionate doctor that I highly recommend.

Dr Kiernan treats his patients like cattle and only cares about making money. He doesn’t care about them as people. I was 10min late to my appointment because I was told the wrong waiting room in the same building, so he cancelled my appointment while I was standing in the office checking in at the right waiting room. His staff was trying to explain why I was late and he told them to cancel me anyway as I was standing there because he didn’t care. I braved COVID-19 to come see him and this is how I was treated as a patient.

Patient never sees her doctor they only see the nurse practitioner. After Staten poisoning and hospitalization even then a doctor does not see the patient.
