I LOVE Dr. Kuntze!
It was about 7 or 8 years ago that he diagnosed a large kidney stone. He was both very professional and, at the same time, hilarious and knew how to put me at ease. He d is didn't know this, but I had recently been through a horrific trauma. His humor helped me to relax and trust him. He did my Lithotripsy and it went flawlessly.I am writing this now because I think I have another kidney stone and told my doctor that I definitely want Dr. Kuntze as my doctor and, if I do have another kidney stone I am very much looking forward to seeing him again I most highly recommend Dr. Kuntze to anyone that wants a professional, knowledgeable and funny doctor!

Seven Years of Sadness
My husband died seven years ago. He had dutifully followed Dr. Kuntze’s order to see him every six months for over thirty years. Dr. Kuntze was concerned about my husband’s prostate. On February 2, 2018 my husband died from Stage Four Prostate Cancer Metastasized to Bone. It was diagnosed by my husband’s orthopedic surgeon who was seeing him for unrelenting shoulder pain.Dr. Kuntze was shocked.

Above and beyond
Dr Kuntze has done a great job taking care of me including emergency care where he stayed beyond his normal work day to do emergency surgery. Great diagnostician and great staff.

He is a terrible doctor with no bedside manner. He doesn’t listen and makes inappropriate jokes. Not compassionate or effective. Don’t recommend.

Did what it took to get the job done. I had a very serious issue and needed surgery. It was a long time and thankful. Very friendly, direct and to the point. He knows his stuff in general and helped.

I disagree with the last reviewer. Dr. Kuntze has always been willing to spend time with me as a patient and explained conditions well. In fact, when I was new to the area, he offered to see me as a regular patient if I needed medical care until I could find another primary care physician. He's been very friendly and I see him as a kind person who cares about his patients.

My experience with this doctor was very negative. He is always in a hurry and doesn't take time to listen. Just before my surgery he had the nurses in a panic because he was in such a hurry they were in a huge hurry. This man needs to retire.
