Dr. Joseph Lellman, MD

I was leaving for Mexico for my son’s wedding and my knee became very swollen. Dr got me in immediately. He withdrew the fluid and gave me a cortisone injection. He was extremely polite and explained every step with me! One month later I ended up having swelling in my lower extremity of the same leg and he called me immediately and advised me what to do! Highly recommend

Rushed out in 10 minutes told me Togo to another dr.i felt like he did not want to do the surgery

Super good doctor, even let me view the x-rays and explained what was on them.

Dr Lellman has a pompous attitude. He made me feel as though my pain was not valid . He did xrays and told me I probably pulled something and would take some time to heal. After a few months finally scheduled an MRI and sent me to physical therapy , also tried cortizone shot which never took effect. Last visit with him he advised there was nothing more he could do but I could get a second opinnion. I am scheduled for a complete shoulder replacement.

Very condescending, acted basically like I was wasting his time. Really didn't seem concerned at all with the shoulder pain I'm experiencing. Didn't seem to believe me when I told him some of my symptoms. I left feeling like I was treated as a hypochondriac. He did do a physical exam, and recommend physical therapy, which I will do, but his attitude was arrogant and very unfriendly. Will never go back to him. I'll travel farther away from home to see someone who maybe actually cares.

I had left TKR surgery on Feb. 28, 3017. Four years later, I remain in constant pain, and cannot walk without a cane. I can walk only about half a block, and the quality of my life is seriously impaired. On the one-year anniversary of my surgery, I had an X-ray of my legs. He said that my X-rays "looked fine," and that he could not explain my persistent pain. He did not offer any further pain management, turned his back on me, and walked out. I feel that Dr. Lellman lacks compassion and would not recommend him to anyone.

found out i had a foot spur from xray an cat scan he had done in me he tells me ur walking fine i cant help you i tell him how much pain i am where i cant sleep put my shoes on or anything without pain he tell me i dont know what you want me to do go see.someone esle i said thank you for wasting my time not helping me he called me rude an walked out he is no help he laughs an thinks its a joke when its not! i would strongly not recommend him!!! go see someone who truly cares!!

Dr. Lellman has performed two knee relacement surgeries for me. The first was in Sept. 2016 and the second in March 2018. Both scars are barely noticeable. The most recent surgery is still visible but I’m sure in time it to will be a very fine thin scar. Both Dr. Lellman and his office staff have exceeded all of my expectations. They are professional and personable. I highly recommend this office.

November 3, 2016 North Brookfield I have had many surgeries by Dr. Lellman and he has always been kind and taken his time to listen to whatever problem I was having, he knows what he is talking about and he is always there for you. I feel people are very lucky to have Dr. Lellman in Ware, Ma.

He was arrogant, condescending, and took very little time to explain things or listen.

Dr. Lellman is a total professional. He is knowledgeable, informative and takes time to listen to his patients. He diagnosed two issues, I had, quickly and successfully. This is one sharp fellow. If I have orthopedic issues again, this is the go to MD. I highly recommend this MD.
