Dr. Joseph Mattox, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Mattox for several years for knee pain and he is by far one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever met. He is always willing to answer any questions and never has made me feel like he is in a hurry or doesn't have time to explain things to me. When it was time for me to have a knee replacement, he helped to connect me with Dr. John Pritchard who is also one of the most caring and compassionate doctors around. It was my first surgery and I told Dr. Mattox we had to have a doctor who would be understanding about my fears and nervousness and Dr. Pritchard was the best possible choice. ONE is very, very fortunate to have both of these doctors on their staff.

Dr.Mattox listened to me, had a solution,and let me know what to expect. Very positive and caring.

Sometimes you have to wait awhile when going to a doctor but my apt with Dr. Mattox was on time. Dr. Mattox and staff are very friendly and caring. They get a 5 star from me.

He listened to my concerns, gave me options, then gave me instructions as to how to proceed with my choice at this time, to go with the conservative approach. He made himself available if I decide in the future to change my option.

My experience with Dr. Maddox was extremely positive. I was very nervous and he was able to calm my nerves while giving me plenty of time to talk through my health concerns. There wasn't a time I felt rushed or minimized. 10/10 - would highly recommend!

Received a phone call early in the morning by Dr. Mattox personally telling me that he had a cancellation and that I could come to him whenever I wanted to . He was not only very professional and patient with me but was anxious to solve my problem.

The visit was on time, taking and reviewing the x-rays took a matter of minutes, and Dr. Mattox fully explained the range of care options. This is my second orthopedic condition for which I've gone to Dr. Mattox. If I encounter a third, I'll seek care from him again.

I hide my pain & suffer through it and perhaps this time I let it go too long. I went through physical therapy but it just wasn't the answer so I went to O.N.E. Wasn't looking forward to it only because I'm not a fan of MRI's, and thankfully, only an x-ray was asked of me. Then walks in this fantastic Dr. Great manner, obviously, from the get-go, well versed in his field. My husband and I were very, very pleased with everything! Thank you so much! Dr. Mattox is always straight forward with me. I have CPTSD and he always makes me feel comfortable. That is very important to me

My visit with Dr. Mattox on Tuesday, October 15, went extremely well. He was very cordial and made me feel at ease. Dr. Mattox fully explained my problem with my wrist and his recommended treatment. His expertise was apparent as there was very minor discomfort during the treatment. His nurses were also very nice and the check-in/check-out process was relatively painless. I would highly recommend Dr. Mattox for your orthopedic needs.
