I’ve seen ENTs for chromic sinusitis for more than 3 decades. I’ve had a couple of great ones in places like Cambridge MA, Los Angeles, and Chicago before moving back to Florida. Most ENTs prefer to treat the symptoms and not the causes. Dr. Mirante is the kind of ENT who identifies every potential cause before working with his patients to prevent the reoccurrence of future sinus infections. He helped me reduce my annual infection rate from around 5 to about 2, and he helped me to learn to early-treat budding infections holistically without the need for antibiotics. And when I do get that rare sinus infection I can’t treat without antibiotics, Dr. Mirante gets me in quickly to evaluate and treat it correctly and completely. If you like real results, Dr. Mirante is your best ENT option in Central Florida.

has always done everything he could to see me quickly.when i need to see him it it because my problem is acute and pretty severe.i feel very fortunate to have a doctor who is so caring that he makes every effort to get me in soon.believe me when you have the sensation of choking or difficulty breathing you need help soon.all that serious business aside, you would be hard pressed to meet a more genuinely nice guy.

I felt like I was dying, and kind of wanted to. I had a sinus infection that had resisted 4 rounds of antibiotics and it was making me completely miserable. I ran a fever for over a month, and felt bad all over. Dr. Migrante got me started on a new treatment, and I began to feel better within a few days. Within a week I was significantly better. I am so appreciative of Dr. Mirante and recommend him highly.

First (& only) visit: The appointment with the doctor was extremely rushed. Dr. Mirante didn't seem familiar with any of the medical history I filled out and barely let me cover details that impacted the problem I came in for. Talked over me several times when I tried to elaborate. I felt disrespected on a few occasions during our very short conversation. Perscription was directed for the wrong ear. Office Staff and Staff conducting the hearing test were great and extremely professional. Will not be returning.

Relatively easy to make an appointment. Good online portal allowed me to fill out my paperwork online, before the appointment. God bless them! Arrived at 9:30 for a 9:30 appointment. Checkin was easy and professional. Got called to a treatment room at 9:40. The nurse that walked me back and took my initial information was professional and empathetic. The doctor came in at 9:45. Dr Mirante was professional and genuinely interested in listening and helping. After listening to me explain my history, he asked several questions, did an evaluation, made recommendations and we agreed on a treatment plan. It was about a good a doctor's appointment as I've ever had. Highly recommended!

I’ve said this before and I will say it again here- Dr. Mirante is by far the best ENT doctor I’ve ever met here in the USA. Since moving from Australia where my ENT doctor, now retired, Dr. Mirante has been taking care of my ear problems and I pray that he doesn’t retire anytime soon. I have been seeing Dr. Mirante for 10 years , eight of those years I have suffered with severe nose bleeds. Dr. Mirante was able to see me through all my problems and was able to get me to the Mayo Clinic for a permanent fix. There were times when he had to come in early to take care of my nose bleeds. It was also Dr. Mirante who convinced my other doctors to find the problem with my low platelet problem. I gladly send all my friends and family to Dr. Mirante

My Mom who is about to turn 82 thought she had something in her ear that kept Popping , Her Regular MD was worried that it could be some sort of insect ..... he was so gentle and removed some wax and realized she had a serious Alergy going on most likely from the Hurricane that we just had! He prescribed her Flonase and she is already feeling better! Thanks to Dr Mirante
