Dr. Pipala is absolutely top notch in every aspect. He takes the time to explain things to you, asks for your follow up questions, comes prepared for an efficient and productive visit, goes through it all until you understand it and treats you like family. Top tier bedside manner. Very likable and well-rounded also. I'd recommend him over and over again without hesitation. I am thankful I saw him and you will be too. I highly recommend him.

It is with heartfelt gratitude that I write this review of Dr. Pipala for being instrumental in the care of my sister while she was a patient at SPCHR. During our initial meeting with Dr. Pipala, he patiently discussed her plan of care. On a later visit, he recognized her rapid & significant physical & cognitive decline that he believed was not consistent with her current problem. After conferring with facility doctors & family members, Dr. Pipala recommended a transfer to the hospital ASAP for acute medical intervention for this up until now, unrecognized medical issue. A transfer took place & as he correctly advised, acute medical intervention was initiated. After 10 days in hospital, her physical & cognitive condition improved & she was transferred back to SP to complete her course of treatment. She will be returning home later this week. We believe that Dr. Pipala’s clinical expertise, intervention and level of teamwork led to this positive outcome. We will be forever grateful.

Dr Pipala is a great doctor! Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative- I immediately felt at ease and confident in my receiving expert medical care. He is very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with patients and addresses their health issues with a lot of professionalism and personalized care. I had a very rare diagnosis, I was very concerned. I came to Dr Pipala for guidance and education about my condition. He was so compassionate and gave me so much time I left his office feeling so much more at ease. He is a brilliant man, but what makes him even more special is his kindness! My sister is a patient at Glen Cove Rehab after having had Cart T transplant because of multiple myeloma. She had been moved from an acute rehab at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC to Glen Cove. Due to my sister's unique condition she was in need of specific medical care by an oncologist in additon to the therapy. Dr. Pipala was nothing less than our guardian angel. In addion to caring for my sister , ordering needed meds and blood tests, he was in communication with the team who treated her at Mr. SInai. All of these tasks , because of her condition were daunting. Thanks to Dr. Pipala, my sister will be discharged and able to go home. He is the paradigm of what a caring, empathic physician should be. Dr.Pipala is a rare gem.

I was an urgent referral for surgery. He called me personally and screened me. In the office, he sat with a blank piece of paper and asked me questions- 45 full minutes; verbal exam was at least 20 minutes. He explained to me what he thinks my diagnosis is, why my other physicians panicked and what the current research says.

Dr. Pipala is a true patient advocate. He will go to any length to ensure that his patients receive the quality care that they require and deserve. He has helped both me and my family in my very recent battle with cancer. Dr. Pipala is an extremely knowledgeable,compassionate doctor. He has been involved with my husband’s care for over 30 years.
