Dr. Joseph Robison, MD

I selected Dr. Robison based on his biography, which mentioned his interest in being an avid guitar player. (I am a professional musician). With this, I thought he could better appreciate my condition and how I was copping with it during my performances. I ensured that my physiatrist’s office shared my EMG results with Dr. Robison in advance. Additionally, I obtained a printed copy of these results and brought them to the appointment, along with a CD containing my previous MRI scans. I had travelled some distance and arrived early to an early morning appointment hoping that Dr. Robison would provide me with a complete evaluation of my condition given all the data and testing I provided and would be able to assist me, eventually, with some possible treatment or remedies. Dr. Robison did not bother to review any of the provided medical records nor did he conduct any physical examination of my hand. Instead, he grabbed his phone and went to Amazon to show me $12-dollar devices which including an egg, squeeze ball, and hand grip strengthener which he stated should be sufficient for my condition. Needless to say, I was horrified that he did not conduct an examination of my hand and its condition nor did he review any of the available tests and data that I provided. The appointment (7/8 minutes duration) concluded rather abruptly with a handshake and Dr. Robison statement that if I need him in the future to contact him. Given this “consultation”, what would another future appointment offer me? I am very disappointed with this consultation and would not recommend Dr. Robison to any guitar player, musician or patient.

Saw Dr. Robison today and was very impressed. He was very kind and caring. Spent time to listen to my concerns/issues and Extremely informative about what he felt my problem was. Will continue to recommend him to everyone because I know he will give them the same care he did to me. Wonder/friendly staff and little to no wait time at all.

Extremely efficient, Dr did xrays himself, explained the findings, the cause and the course of treatment. Sent script, which was ready when I got to pharmacy. Provided a sleeve to assist with compression and prevent further injury. They called me back to the room immediately after check in, 0 wait time. Great doctor, would highly recommend.

The front desk stall was very friendly, kind and respectful. Dr Robinson is a wonderful doctor. He is very polite and have a wonderful attitude. I enjoyed visiting the office.

Dr. Robinson was very informative and understanding about my hand. He put me at ease quickly. The injection he gave me really helped!!

Very caring doctor and accommodating!

Dr. Robinson performed two different minimally invasive surgeries on my hands for trigger finger (tenolysis). The first one was in my right hand ring finger and yesterday he operated on my left hand index finger. These procedure had amazing results. My right hand ring finger now functions normally after his surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Robinson as an artisan surgeon. Happy Thanksgiving Dr. Robinson and family!

I went to Dr Robison b cause I still had carpal tunnel symptoms after I had surgery 2 years earlier. He sent me for a nerve conductor study which revealed nerve damage in my neck. On my next visit with him he said he had an excellent chance of relieving my symptoms through a second surgery Dr Robison was extremely compassionate. Unfortunately, the surgery did nothing for my hand and I finally am getting spinal surgery and hopefully get relief

Dr Robison has medical knowledge, integrity, wisdom and a fantastic bedside manner. He answers all your questions and you never feel rushed. Exceptional experience! Exceptional care!

Dr. Robinson is phenomenal! No other word can describe his professionalism or ability to educate, inform, or lighten the mood in a stressful time. Dr. Robinson will remain one of the best physicians I've had for a very long time! I hope I do not break anything else, but if I do Dr. Robinson will be my first choice!
