Best doctor for my medical needs.

Dr.Shanklin is an amazing doctor , I know people get annoyed having too wait because he does run late , but it’s worth it for the individualized quality care he provides for each patient.

Dr Shanklin is a god sent! Yes, sometimes he runs a little but behind for my appointment time, but that’s because he is giving needed time to the patient in front of me, not just kicking them out of his office due to time limits. He sincerely cares about my mental Health and and my issue I face and really helps me soooo much that I feel blessed to have met him

Arrived on time for early a.m. appointment, waited 50 minutes, only to find that the doctor hadn’t even arrived at his office. This had happened more than once. Talking openly to Dr. Shanklin about the ongoing problem only served to annoy him. Appointments delayed by his tardiness allowed waiting room to fill making social distancing difficult in a Covid environment. Running a business from home due to Covid-19 as well as being caregiver for a spouse was made even more difficult by the lack of respect for patient and carer’s time. When over an hour round trip drive is added to an hour of waiting (which is often optimistic) then the appointment and check out are added to this, it can be pretty taxing on an already tight schedule; especially if you have employees also working from home and needing your input regarding pending deadlines. All another complaint about this got us was dismissing my spouse (a totally innocent party) as a patient and RX refills were cancelled with no notice!

Dr. Shanklin provides compassionate, individualized care for patients.

Absolutely awful nobody answers the phones...good luck every getting through the phone lines. He is so hard headed and flat out inpatient with some people that in makes me wonder why he is in this field. He doesn't always get his diagnoses right..in the beginning and in the end..was thinking about going back after years to give it another shot but it's not even worth it.I am sure if they can't even answer there phones they don't need my business.- ashley

HIs focus is on his patients, not the clock. He is caring and compassionate. His is easy to talk to, even about the difficult things. Great doctor, I am very fortunate to have found him.

Dr. Shanklin is an amazing individual. He is a doctor who goes above and beyond to help his patients. He is compassionate and real. I am so thankful for him.

WHAT!! 3 STARS?? Wow... Dr. Shanklin quite literally saved my life. He took his time with me. I'm an actual person, not a patient. You may wait a lol bit to see him, but isn't that the sign of a great Dr? He never knows what problem you may be having when you walk in his door, but you can be sure he will address it with YOU Thoroughly ..in words we understand ! EXCELLENT DR!

Dr. Shanklin is a wonderful guy. I would definitely recommend him to anybody. I'm so thankful that I was referred to him than anybody else...????

Dr. Shanklin is an excellent psychiatrist. He is perceptive and progressive in his treatment with patients. The 3 star review is horribly inappropriate. He gives the patient the time they deserve and never short-changes the patient like other psychiatrist in the community. I refer to him often as I want my patients to have the best care they can get. I have been a patient of Dr Shanklin since 2002. He is very caring and responsive. He has been a life saver for me. He guided me through many difficult times and I came out the other side. I would highly recommend him. Eternally Grateful!
