Dr good, support staff terrible
Drs are very good, but support and adminstration is TERRIBLE. My mother recently had an external heart monitor installed and received a bill for services. When I called Biotel about the bill, they told me Cardiovascular Assoc had not provided them any information about her Medicaid and secondary insurance. They wouldn't take the information from me and said they couldn't contact the prescribing Dr for the info due to HIPAA regulations. It took numerous calls and several hrs on the phone to get the info for Biotel simply because Cardiovascular Assoc billing dept didn't take the extra 15 seconds to provide insurance info to Biotel. Don't bother trying to call Cardiovascular Assoc Billing or admin. Billing you get the 'press the 1, 2,3' runaround, admin rings and then hangs up.

Wow - What a wonderful doctor! Friendly, knowledgeable, straightforward, quick, AND he listens to everything you tell him. I had to have an emergency appointment yesterday to get cleared for surgery, and they worked me in. I was in and out before my scheduled appointment time. I've only known a couple of cardiologists in my time, but he is terrific. If you need a cardiologist, please seriously consider him. You will be glad you did.
