Dr. Trentacoste and his colleague Dr. Acuña saved me from a lifetime of unnecessary eye pressure medicine due to an incorrect diagnosis from another Doctor! The staff is also professional and friendly, which is a rarity in South Florida. Dr. Trentacoste is down-to-earth, talks to me like a fellow human being and takes the time to hear me out and to explain the diagnosis. I've never felt rushed.His fees are very reasonable, even without insurance coverage, and he has never pushed me to buy glasses I didn't need or pushed any unnecessary product or service on me, which I’ve experienced elsewhere.He seems like a good man who truly enjoys what he does and whose main concern is his patients, not his profits. I live over an hour away, yet I will continue being a patient of his until he retires. Dr. Trentacoste and his office are an oasis of humanity, professionalism and competence in South Florida!

I'm 38 years old and used to have myopia in both of my eyes, tired of wearing glasses for everything and scared of contact lenses I decided to read about Lasek, and after a lot of research I found the best doctor that would change my life forever, Dr. Trentacoste. From our first conversation I was sure that I was in the best hands. The day of the surgery everything went smoothly, no pain at all, the post-op is a little bit uncomfortable but just the first days, after that, I can't describe the relief and happiness to be able to see without glasses again. 20/15, even better than 20/20, isn't that great? I 100% recommend Dr. Trentacoste for LASEK surgery. He was recommended to me by my sister who had the surgery done 10+ years ago. He is truly amazing. He explains everything and ensures you understand everything step by step. He will explain what's the best option and educate you why as well. On top of being knowledgeable, he is so nice and truly cares about the progression of your eye sight. I had my surgery in May of 2022 and he had made sure to keep seeing me until my eyes were perfect. If you are considering this a procedure definitely call for the free consultation. He is very transparent with the cost of everything, you won't be tricked or blindsided by anything. If you require additional eye drops afterwards he will help you find the most cost effective route, especially if you don't have insurance. The staff in the office are very nice as well. I found Dr. Joseph Trentacoste through deep web search because I am a person very paranoid and afraid of anything done to my eyes, I saw through my research that he was the absolute best! I personally did not mind if I had to spend more than the average amount for a LASEK but to my fortune it was not expensive compared to many other places I researched and they had many options to pay for the surgery as well. I thank you so much for facilitating my journey, it was painless, incredibly fast, and Dr. Trentacoste was there every step of the way reassuring you that everything is great and explains the procedures before and during so your not going in blind (no pun intended haha). I am truly grateful to have full 20/20 vision now (I have used glasses since I was 3, contacts since 12) which is such a blessing.
