Great doctor
I went in for a follow up, check up on a broken hip that he did surgery on July 29. He had all the time in the world for me and has such an encouraging disposition. I am glad that he was the emergency room doctor when I needed him.

Always makes me feel important
When is to my appointment Ms. Barbra the recationist always makes me feel comfortable and the medical assistant Kat. (Kathy) also makes me feel at ease. It's been 2 years since I have been here and it feels like the first time walking in. I feel when you enter the office that's where it begins. I felt very good.

A Positive Experience with Dr. Wiek
Dr. Wiek was the sort of doctor one wants. He listens to inquiries and explains issues, expected limitations during recuperation, and treats patients as persons rather than animals.

Each patient is unique.
Excellent surgery skills. Explains the procedure, and gives realistic information. The surgery team provides after care, that helps set positive goals. Basically they listen to the patient and try to help, using their vast resources and acknowledge the fear, stress, and pain, which plays such a huge role in positive results. Emergency surgery is scary. The hospital nurses and staff work closely with the surgeon. This doctor and staff respond quickly, which results in less fear, anxiety, and pain.

Horrible experience. Rude and uncaring. Treated my wife and I (both veterans) like second class citizens.

Horrible experience. They overbook and people sometimes wait hours.. My Dad broke his hip and was in rehab After a few weeks the nurse realized the staple were still in after the partial hip replacement.. Set a appointment up for 10am in which he had to be transported because he was not well enough to get in and out of the car.. They transported him in a wheelchair waiting room over half HR.. He had complained to the front desk that he was in severe pain over 10 times.. He had a 10:00 a.m. appointment why is he waiting over a half hour.. He told me there was nothing they could do about it there were several people in front of them.. I said the appointment for 10:00 a.m. why would you over book heavly.. Is that this is BS.. Went outside to cool down and when I went back Inside they had wheeled him into a break room.. I said in very colorful wordsbthis is unacceptable.. they had security have me removed.. Having overbooked appointments and having people with sit in pain.APPALLING

I got Dr Weick assigned throu ED visit. That was the beginning of a bad situation. Would not discuss any options for hip repair but screws. Family experience said this was not what I needed. My brother’s screws back out and had to be replaced. Within two weeks and returning to clinic for severe pain screws were backing out. Long story short Dr Weick left town before healing complete. Transferred to surgeon in group I wanted to begin with. Now after 8 months of pain and a leg now 1 inch shorter than the other I will have hip replying needed in June

He and his nurse are rude. The doctor seems too busy to listen to his patients. If you’re lucky you may get a full 3 minutes of his time.

Unfortunately, I was referred to him from the ER. I couldn’t sit, stand or walk without being in severe pain. He listened to me share about my pain in detail and he told me that I needed a MRI. Then he walked out the room. I thought he was coming back, but he didn’t and his nurse did. She told me that they had to send a request to my insurance company for the MRI. I walked passed him in the hallway laughing and talking with an associate, but he didn’t acknowledge me or tell me that was the end of my visit with him when he left the room. I called my insurance company and the MRI request was denied due to the lack of detail from Dr. Wieck.

The staff in this office is extremely friendly, kind and professional. The front desk group is very proficient and organized but also makes you feel welcomed to the practice. The techs in the back were also helpful. Dr Wieck explained everything in a way I could understand and provided a copy of the x-ray so that he could show me exactly what had happened with my foot. He is professional & knowledgeable but friendly at the same time. Everyone had a smile & appeared to enjoy working here.

My mother broke her knee. Went to StoneCrest ER. ER Doc spoke with Dr. Wieck by phone. We were told Dr. Weik wanted to see her first thing Monday. We called; Woman who was scheduling appointments indicated the Dr. was booked and couldn't see my Mother for two days. fact that the knee was broken in two, she was 80, and Dr. Wiek instructed the ER folk to have us call was immaterial. Scheduler seemed as if she couldn't have cared less... because she didn't. That lack of caring starts at the top.

I've seen Dr Wieck for a number of issues over the years (mostly volleyball injuries) and he's done surgeries on my knee and shoulder and avoided surgery on the other knee, an ankle and back. he's fantastic. listens and always took what i wanted into consideration for treatment. glad I haven't had to go see him in a while but I will if need arises and highly recommend.
