Dr. Joseph Williams, DO

Have been a patient with Dr Williams for over two years; he's never examined me, never asked how I was doing, never evaluated his radioablations (which have been totally ineffective). I've had three, returning with the hope they'd help; they haven't. I've never met the Dr; on my initial visit & every other I was laid face down with my face buried in a doughnut pillow, my pants were pulled down, and the Dr would enter, say Hi, and quickly inject either anesthetic or the ablation needle. I couldn't tell you what he looks like. I once asked (while face down), if this is all he does and he answered 'all day, every day'. I do not know how a treatment plan can be implemented without an exam, or at least a conversation first. BTW, prior to the ablations, a test using local anesthetic is injected and the pain relief is excellent, for 10-12 hours. But... the subsequent ablations do nothing. Why?

If you want to see your doctor only one time for an initial visit and never again, even after a procedure that did not go so well, this is your guy. If you want only to see his PA Kacey who tells you that a quickly needed referral was sent out as you stood in the exam room, only to find out a week later that it just actually was sent - this is the level of care you want.

Extremely down to earth type attitude.. explains pain treatment plans in understanding ways.. very knowledgable in back/spine conditions. Great sense of humor , caring, understanding, and shows great compassion for patients!
